Ethics Committee Statement
Hello, I am Dr. Adrien currently the main EC Liaison stationed by the FDRTC. There has been some talk among the personnel working for the FDRTC about sentient food and what we must do with them. Well the EC has decided on new ethical rules for food/drink SCPs. First off these rules only apply to sapient food SCPs with few exceptions.
1. If the anomaly is capable of expiring there must be pressured to prevent this from happening.
2. All sentient food/drink items will be met with the same ethical treatment as nonfood anomalies.
3. If the anomaly is capable of speech it is allowed to request items and other treatments to its cell.
4. Eating these anomalies are not allowed under any circumstances and will lead to declassification.
5. Any attempt to harm these anomalies will also lead to declassification unless given permission from Dr. Tetris.
6. Containment cells for these anomalies must be suitable for their needs.
7. You must have permission from Dr. Tetris to do any testing on these anomalies.
More will most likely be written later but currently, these are the standards you must follow. If any of the rules are broken you will be met with reclassification or death. If you want to add or change any rules please contact Dr. Tetris. Please report violators at the EC Anonymous Help Line.
Dr. Staxs Proposal
Hello, I am Dr. Staxs a member of the FDRTC research team. Me and Dr. Bloxs have been thinking about giving sentient food a robotic body, after getting denied by Dr. Tetris and the Ethics Committee we decided to propose to you. Sentient food SCPs live a very sad life by being stuck in containment with no way of interacting with the world. We propose to give them a robot body that they can fully control and use. This will allow them to be happier and make them interact with the world and their surroundings. I believe they would be more compliant when talking with staff and can make them even useful. We also think they could fill minor staff positions like janitors and researchers. This could help make them feel important. Please consider our request and accept it, I want sentient food to feel more human.
Sincerely,
Dr. Staxs
O5 Response
After speaking with Dr. Tetris, Dr. Adrien, and each other we have decided to decline your offer, doing this may make them happy at the moment but we believe this would give them the possibility to want more and do more, they would want stuff we couldn't allow/provide. They would become angry that they can't actually use their new body for many things and that would lead to them wanting freedom. A robotic body would also increase the chances of the breaching and might even turn a Safe SCP into a Euclid class. Sure they would be able to interact with the things they have but they would want more than that. Them working as small staff roles would also put them in greater harm if a containment breach was to take place, which breaks the ethical standards set earlier. With all of this, we conclude it is too much of a risk and will not be going through with the plan. Do not attempt to request this to any other personnel. We think your heart was in the right place but the way it was thought out did not make ethical sense.

Site Directors Arrest
After an "anonymous" tip from Dr. Haxard, it was brought to our attention that the Director of Site-81 had violated rule 5 of the Ethical Code for food-related anomalies. During the weekly aircheck of Site-81, the Director had made an order to dispense [Data Expluged] in food SCPs containment cells, he claimed he had permission from Dr. Tetris to do so, currently, Dr. Tetris denies this. After this took place many food-related SCPs were harmed by the toxin leading to the SCPs depression rate increasing along with their need to escape. Dr. Haxard soon after reported the Site Director to the EC Anonymous Phone Line. After looking it over an investigation took place on the Site Director. The investigation has now been closed concluding the Site Director as guilty. Deployment of MTF-Omega-1 will now take place.

Site Director ████s Judging
The former Site Director sits in his chair as 4 figures stand on pedestals in front of him. "Current judges are Dr. Tetris, Dr. Adrien, Dr. Haxard, and O5-14," says the first one. 2 other people can be seen in the corner, one writing things down while the other records the judging. "Now Mr. ████ what made you decide to change the air supply to [Data Expluged] in the food SCPs cell?" the director hesitates as he looks at the tall figures in front of him. He had decided to tell it as it is, he was not a man for lying as he has claimed "Those anomalies are dangerous I just wanted to remove them". The figures talk a while then stop " You understand this breaks the Ethical Code" the second one states "Yes I do, but I needed them to die-" the director is interrupted by the fourth figure "There is nothing to justify what you have done so let's make this short, all in who wish to have Mr. ████ demoted to Class-D Keter Level say I" all the figures say I in unison as the fourth speaks again, "Take Mr.████ away" then the security forces take the former director out of his chair, a look of shock and confusion can be seen on his face as the guards escort him out. Currently, Mr. ████ now D-96996 is in line for femur breaker containment and has been transferred to Site-19 for that purpose.
