I have created my first SCP! With a lot of thought, I have wrote and rewrote this proposal for SCP-4256 (The Airline Oxygen Mask). I hope you see this to be a good first attempt.

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4256 is to be contained in a 4m x 4m x 4m airtight chamber, fitted with a double airlock.
It is to be constantly observed with cameras to prevent the inflation of the mask, and with 2 guards to intervene if so is to occur.
All tests are to take place inside of the chamber, to prevent a bio-chemical emergency. SCP-4256 is to stay at the site which it was originally contained (Site [REDACTED]).
In no circumstances should both airlocks be opened without level 3 or greater clearance. Doing so will lead to immediate termination.
Description: SCP-4256 is a standard airplane oxygen mask, with a single strap to fix the mask to the face. The clear breathing mandible is seen to always be fogged over, as if it were being breathed in. The serial number which is stamped on the strap suggests that it originates from the flight company [REDACTED].
When SCP-4256 is applied, numerous effects occur, which are dependant on how long the mask has been worn for. Around 2-5 minutes in, the wearer will feel nauseous, to the point of heavy vomiting. Around 6-8 minutes, the wearer will feel heavy virtigo. (All minor effects usually dissipate in ~2 hours) . In 10 minutes, the wearer will experience visions of a "Tragic plane crash"
At this point, most test subjects enter a comatose state whilst still wearing the mask (Reports of visions given by test subjects who were immune to this state). This effect can be negated if the mask is removed shortly afterwards. Fatal health conditions usually occur shortly after entering the comatose state. These effects may vary from: Cardiac Arrest, Heavy Stroke, Lung Failure and Ruptured Liver. There are currently no know triggers of the different fatal conditions.

ADDENDUM: SCP-4256 is to stay as a Euclid class to be studied furthermore. We feel this is appropiate to find out what causes the diverse fatal health conditions experianced in continued application of SCP-4256. Clearance Level is to also stay at Level 3 and Greater, as a Catastrophic event is expected if the bio-chemical nature of SCP-4256 is to leak into the Light Containment Zone of Site …; as we are yet to know because of limited attention brought to SCP-4256.
