Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a specifically designed electromagnetic cell producing 450,000 gauss precisely. Should the magnetic field be strengthened or weakened by a minimum of 500 gauss, a containment breach would be likely to occur. A rotation of three facility personnel of clearance level 2 and up are to monitor the electromagnetic forces being exerted within the chamber. Should the number fluctuate outside of it's assumed safe parameters, a standby team of electricians are to raise or lower the electric flow as necessary.
In the case of a containment breach, all Class-D personnel are to be terminated after approval of staff clearance level 4 and above. Should no termination order be called, Class D personnel are to continue about their routines as usual.
MTF units will enter the facility armed with a minimum of one (1) coilgun. SCP-XXXX is to be fired upon until the entity is incapable of proceeding. Cleanup crews will arrive on scene to collect any instances of SCP-XXXX-A and SCP-XXXX-B. All instances of SCP-XXXX-B are to be terminated after research.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a vaguely humanoid entity made out of a nickel and iron compound. The entity appears to be capable of changing forms rapidly and without control. Along with this, the SCP has been observed speaking in a pitch that rapidly shifts from low to high. SCP-XXXX has proven capable of free speech and intelligent thought even having been capable of holding conversation with numerous site personnel.
The anomalies skin has the effect of altering the chemical makeup of it's victims skin. Should an organic creature come into contact with SCP-XXXX their skin will begin rapidly transforming into pure iron (See Addendum-XXXX-B). The victim will be encased in a shell of iron that by all modern means proves to be irreversible. The person(s) will remain living in what has been described as "a prison cell for one." The victim will henceforth be referred to as SCP-XXXX-B.
SCP-XXXX has been shown shedding parts of its body and rapidly regenerating them. These shed parts are referred to as SCP-XXXX-A. These pieces have been observed as self sustaining and near living (See Addendum-XXXX-A).
Addendum-XXXX-A: Research conducted on SCP-XXXX-A.
Research on the shed remains of SCP-XXXX have been observed as capable of rearranging the protons, neutrons, and electrons of the air around the item to sustain and rebuild itself. This process is believed to be why SCP-XXXX requires no sustenance to regenerate lost mass. Items placed within electronic fields ranging from 680 tesla to 700 tesla have been proven capable of destroying instances of SCP-XXXX-A. Technology is being designed that is capable of producing that field in greater sizes.
Addendum-XXXX-B: Research conducted on SCP-XXXX-B.
Under electronic microscopes, it was discovered that instances of SCP-XXXX-B were shown to have the same regenerative capabilities as SCP-XXXX-A. While unobserved as of now, it is believed that SCP-XXXX-B instances are also capable of rearranging the molecular makeup of it's once organic material.
