Item #: SCP-XXXX (The Ethical Expungement)
Object Class: Keter
Special Containment Procedures:
SCP XXXX is currently held in Armed Containment Area-73. All personnel assigned to its containment must be deemed experienced in ESP Deterrence Training and outfitted with standard Foundation tasers.
The entity's containment chamber walls are to be made of reinforced concrete and within their cavities must be imbedded 4 Localised Electromagnetic Scramblers. A large pane of bullet-proof glass is to separate the chamber into Containment Areas: A and B. In both areas an intercom to the other side must be present.
SCP-XXXX is to be monitored 24/7 by no less than 3 individuals of Level 2 clearance from an external observation room. Every two hours the assigned personnel must be replaced and each given a full examination by an on-site psychiatrist.
When inactive SCP-XXXX is to be kept within its primary container: A human-sized bullet-proof glass case suspended roughly 3 metres off of the ground in Containment Area B. The hatch of the container must be sealed off and SCP XXXX is to then be completely submerged in a diluted form of Class E amnestic.
The walls, ceiling and floor of containment chamber B are to be made of tiles that can produce up to 25,000 volts of electricity at a constant rate. These tiles are to be remotely activated in the event that SCP-XXXX refuses to return to its primary container.
At the glass boundary between Areas A and B there must an entrance at Area A into a Sterilisation Chamber. This chamber is to have a prepared set of Heavy-duty ESP Deflection Gear, a complete Foundation-grade tool kit, an MRI machine and an intercom to the external Observation Room. So too should it be connected to a further incineration room and Area B.
The main entrance to the containment chamber is a large steel vault door which is to remain locked without permission from both the site director and at least one O5 council member. On either side of this entrance are two emergency Short-range E.M.P's only to be detonated in the event of an SCP XXXX Containment Breach. Outside of the door should be situated 4 guards each wearing the aforementioned Heavy-duty ESP Deflection Gear. They must also be equipped with E.M.P grenades, shock batons and have a cyanide pill implanted in their top row of teeth.
Any and all possible interviews to be conducted with SCP-XXXX are to be put to a vote of the Ethics Committees highest ranking members.
A routine maintenance inspection must be performed on a monthly basis to determine the condition of all the prior Special Containment Procedures. A D-Class must be used when examining the condition of Containment Area B. The D-Class is to enter the Sterilisation Chamber, be sterilised, receive an MRI, apply the provided gear and perform their duties. Once the inspection is completed the D-Class must return all provided items and then be given a second MRI. If no obvious visible changes can be detected between the two brain scans, that would indicate a neural infestation, the D-Class should be released and given a full psychiatric analysis. If neural infestation is concluded the D-Class is to be unwittingly directed to the nearby incineration room for immediate termination.
Description:
SCP-XXXX is made up of two separate parts: SCP-XXXX-A and B
SCP-XXXX-A is an amorphous structure with no defined colour, hue, temperature, density or state of matter. The entity does however have a defined mass of 73.7Kg and weight of 723N. As a result of microscopic tests performed on multiple samples of SCP-XXXX, it has been determined that the entity is of crystalline composition and composed of an unknown substance. The structure is highly resistant to corrosive material, high temperatures and low temperatures. Blunt and projectile forces have had some effect on solid instances but the most effective means of determent and enforcement have been electrical and, indirectly, piezoelectrical. This is because the structure (due to its crystalline composition) is highly conductive and can store electrical charge very well resulting in its ability to release said charge upon compression. This would be a benefit to itself, however, when the entity is electrified the results are that its ability to shift its form ceases; and, as inferred from SCP-XXXX-B's convulsions, pain.
SCP-XXXX-B is located within the centre of SCP-XXXX-A and resembles a human foetus approximately six months old. The attached umbilical cord floats/exists freely in the structure and is somewhere between 7-9 metres long. SCP-XXXX-B has been observed to extend this cord outwards at incredibly fast speeds towards its targets. When this occurs the cord can be observed to do one of two things: It will either open it's ending similar to the blooming of a flower, latch this opening onto its victims head and then proceed to drain the victim of its grey matter through the orbital bones. Or it will coil itself around the victim and proceed to pull it in to be digested within the structure of SCP-XXXX-A.
The primary of effect of SCP-XXXX is its mind-affecting properties.
