Special Containment Procedures: Due to the impossibility of relocating SCP-XXXX, a perimeter wall standing 10 meters in height and 2 meters thick, constructed of concrete and lead, much be maintained with a perimeter no less than 15 meters from the anomaly in each direction. The perimeter surrounding SCP-XXXX is to be designated as Containment Site ███ and maintain a constant guard of no fewer than 25 active guard personnel. D-Class personnel are not to be stored on-site, and may be requested from site ███. Due to the nature of SCP-XXXX, all anomalous material ejected from the entity must be removed once each week. All materials cleaned are to be incinerated using an on-site furnace. At no point should any materials ejected from SCP-XXXX leave the containment zone. For any purposes, no more than 4 personnel may come within 10 meters of SCP-XXXX (see addendum XXXX-A) Any unauthorized personnel found attempting to enter containment site ███ shall be given class A amnestics and relocated to the town of █████████ approximately ███ kilometers from the site. Any unauthorized personnel caught within the containment site will be given class B amnestics and relocated. Any personnel caught attempting to remove instances of SCP-XXXX-1 without authorization from research personnel of rank 4 or higher will be subject to immediate termination.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a natural geyser 19 meters across. It is currently unknown how deep the geyser is, or if it has a bottom at all. SCP-XXXX is located ██ kilometers from the town of ██████ in northern Africa. SCP-XXXX has been observed to erupt each day at both 3:24 AM and 7:02 PM with no variation. During the eruption, several miscellaneous items, designated SCP-XXXX-1, have been observed to be ejected from SCP-XXXX. Upon examination, no instances of SCP-XXXX-1 show any signs of having been inside a geyser at all. Should more than 4 personnel come within 10 meters of SCP-XXXX at any given time, several humanoid entities, designated SCP-XXXX-2, have been observed to exit from the opening of SCP-XXXX, before beginning to assault any and all visible personnel or equipment within 1 kilometer of the anomaly itself. It has been observed that people within 10 meters of SCP-XXXX feel a strong impulse to jump inside of the pit. Any organic material, living or not, that has fallen into SCP-XXXX, has been expelled during eruptions. Non-living material dropped into the anomaly have come out in the same state they had gone in, while living material returns in a mummified state, lacking any fluids or internal organs. Attempts to descend into the pit have met with little success as, at seemingly random depths, a large unidentifiable mass, Designated SCP-XXXX-3, has come into contact with the expeditions before contact is lost. The mummified remains of any personnel who have encountered SCP-XXXX-3 have been expelled from SCP-XXXX at one of two regular eruption times.
