Item #: SCP-5127

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5127-1 is to be contained unsheathed, with the sheath layed out in front, on a traditional Japanese sword stand, all of which is to be tied down to the bottom of a two (2) centimeter thick polymethyl methacrylate box for both security and monitoring purposes. SCP-5127-2 is to be kept hung on a traditional Japanese bow stand also within its own two (2) centimeter thick polymethyl methacrylate box. SCP-5127-3 is to be contained on a traditional Japanese armor stand, open to the atmosphere. These three items are to be contained within a standard holding room and requires no special containment.

Description: SCP-5127-1 appears to be a traditionally forged Japanese sword, which carbon dating has revealed to be approximately made in 15██ A.D. as evidenced by fingerprints on the tang by who is presumed to be the smith who crafted it. When swung, it was found to produce a low, deep hum that was recorded to range from 34 to 58 hz. The pitch of the noise is dependent on the direction swung, as well as speed. Higher pitches come from quicker swings as well as swinging the blade upwards. Its blade is made from an alloy of iron, carbon, nickel, gold, and tungsten and an unrecorded element. The exact amounts of each metal are yet to be recorded.

The unrecorded element appears to have ███ protons, ███ neutrons, and ███ electrons. This raises numerous questions about the true extent of the number of distinct elements within the universe. The signature on the tang of the blade reads “Raijin Takahashi” (ライジン タカハシ). When matched against historical records of bladesmiths in a similar time period, results are inconclusive and either state that there are smiths of that name from centuries later or that no smiths of that name existed at all.

Any laceration or puncture wounds created by SCP-5127-1 drain exactly one (1) litre of blood from the victim. Depending on the length of the laceration or the depth of the puncture wound, drainage time will range between █ minute to █ hours. After one (1) liter has been drained from the victim, the wound seals over at unnatural rates, ranging from ██ seconds to ██ minutes.

SCP-5127-2 is an old Japanese longbow, carved in an unusually ornate fashion for a weapon. Carbon dating tests indicate a range of creation between 15██ - 15██ A.D. Arrows fired from SCP-5127-2 travel at speeds exceeding ███ m/s. Arrows fired will also attempt to find the wielder's target, even if it is behind walls, or sealed in a container. The bow itself is made of Pine wood, and the arrowheads are composed entirely of the same unrecorded element that is present within SCP-5217-1. The arrows made for SCP-5127-2 are in a quiver that replenishes the supply every time an arrow is fired. Researchers are requesting approval of the 05 Council to submit the unknown material to alpha radiation in order to link the unknown element with our periodic table and to discover new elements simultaneously.

SCP-5127-3 appears to be a suit of samurai armor, which design elements indicate that it comes from the feudal era of Japan. Carbon dating tests however, indicate that the armor was created in 854 A.D. It is composed from iron, titanium, and the unknown element listed beforehand. It was found to be practically indestructible, even withstanding the blast from a 76 mm M1 Antitank Gun. Any metallic object that strikes SCP-5127-3 immediately shatters. Any living subjects striking SCP-5127-3 suffer internal bleeding at the site of contact.

Addendum 5127-1: SCP-5127-1 and SCP-5127-3, along with the arrowheads belonging to SCP-5127-2 are found to be able to withstand every known acid, and can even withstand a sample of 106’s corrosive fluids, and 035’s secretions, but damage is visible, although minute. Researchers are requesting approval of the 05 Council and the United States Government to subject SCP-5127-3 to a ███ ███████ ████.

Addendum 5127-2: Requests from both the 05 Council and the United States Government we’re granted and SCP-5127-3 was subjected to a B83 nuclear bomb. Tests have found that SCP-5127-3 was completely unscathed by the blast, even though SCP-5127-3 was well within the fireball produced by the ███ ████.
