Special Containment Procedures:
All SCP-XXXX instances is to be kept in 100 square yards surrounded by an 4 m high, 6 m thick steel wall and electrocuted with 5000 volts with a constant patrol of armed guards. SCP-XXXX must be given two corspes either animal or human, two bags of high graded bone meal, a bag of coconut fibers, five bags of any fruits and watered every four weeks the grass around SCP-XXXX must be trimmed and kept at ankle height.
All pencils, clipboards , paper or wooden materials are prohibited from entering SCP-XXXX instances containment zones due to it's ability to replicate any tree based materials into another SCP-XXXX instance.
If an SCP-XXXX is discovered other than the ones we have already contained at Site-103 . MTF Beta-7 ("Maz Hatters") MTF Theta-4 ("Gardeners") and MTF Lambda-4 ("birdwatchers") are to be deployed into the manifestation zone to secure detain any residents living in the surrounding area. All detainees are forced to strip all their clothes, and belongings for incineration to prevent accidental infection.
Detained civilians are to be quarantined for maximum of 5 days if sign of symptoms are present due to exposure to SCP-XXXX-B they are to be terminated on the spot then incinerated before they harden to prevent them from becoming SCP-XXXX-1.
Residents that are cleared are to be given class A amnestics than a cover story is to be made. All trees and tree based materials like houses, electricary polls or fences are to be removed in a 25 mile radius around the initial manifestation zone to prevent more SCP-XXXX instances from forming outside of temporary containment zones.
A 4 m high, 6 m thick steel wall, electrocuted with 5000 volts is to be built around the manifestation zone ,with crow nests so armed guards can dispatch of any SCP-XXXX-1 instances. Armed guards are to constantly patrol the outer perimeter of the wall with the same purpose.
The temporary containment is to remain throughout SCP-XXXX’s reproductive cycle.
Once all instances of SCP-XXXX located and are discovered to be going through the hibernation stage, they are to be transferred for permanent containment at site-103
Bird feeders containing a mixture of poison and SCP-XXXX-A
are to be distributed inside and outside the temporary containment site, these are be refilled daily. This is to kill birds on site, which helps to stop SCP-XXXX-B from sticking to the feathers and accidentally spreading and creating more SCP-XXXX instances.

Description:
SCP-XXXX is five trees that are predatory and parasitic in nature. SCP-XXXX resembles species of Quercus (Oak Tree). SCP-XXXX is normal in appearance to a regular oak tree but the first signs of anomalous activity occur during the start of its reproduction cycle.
The foundation was made aware of this anomaly after reports from an residential area of an red fog and a loud humming sound coming from the trees in the area
MTF Theta-4 ("Gardeners") was dispatched to investigate the area and located SCP-XXXX on an elementary school playground Apon entering its reproduction cycle, a total of 12 school children were killed and transformed into SCP-XXXX-1 instances who ambushed and attacked MTF agents injuring 2 agents . Four other trees in the nearby area were found to have been transformed into SCP-XXXX instances before temporary containment could of been set up.
Five days after temporary containment was established, the leaves on the infected trees transformed back to green and all SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-2 instances sank into the ground, which lead researchers to believe the instances were going into hibernation.
Upon hibernation, all 5 SCP-XXXX instances were relocated to Site-103 for permanent containment and further research.
During its hibernation cycle, SCP-XXXX instances are harmless unless disturbed. If disturb, the SCP-XXXX instance will began releasing a toxic yellow like substance designated as SCP-XXXX-C
This was observed when 15 D-Class personal tasked with trimming, mowing and pulling weeds inside the containment area , three to each of SCP-XXXX confinement zones when one of D-class personnel decided to break off a piece of bark off one of the SCP-XXXX instances resulting in the death of all 15 D-class personnel assigned to maintaining The confinement zones.
SCP-XXXX enters its reproduction period randomly which is a five day timespan with each day getting more lethal then the last more details about all stages can be seen in Addendum-2. The first noticable feature that SCP-XXXX is entering its reproduction cycle is that leaves will turn blood red and jagged barbs will protrude from the bark ,branches and exposed roots Reseachers that are residing at site-103 will also experience nightmares and suicidal thoughts in 2 hours of SCP-XXXX beginning to enter its reproduction cycle. After 1 hour of entering reproduction cycle the leaves of SCP-XXXX will start turning red and barbs protruding from the bark it will produce an sap like substance renamed SCP-XXXX-A reseachers also reported on hearing voices and sounds . After 12 hours after entering The reproduction cycle SCP-XXXX will produce a red pollen like substance named SCP-XXXX-B. if SCP-XXXX is lacking basic needs or poorly maintained prior before entering reproduction cycle like sunlight or nutrients it will make the duration of it reproduction cycle last longer.
SCP-XXXX-A is the sap produced by SCP-XXXX animals are highly attracted to the smell of SCP-XXXX-B and will consume it once in contact however adult humans are immuned to this effect if SCP-XXXX-B is consumed will result in the instance in a span of 2 hours.
SCP-XXXX-B is an thick pollen like substance produced by SCP-XXXX and is extremely contagious to humans and animals when it is inhaled will result in the subject to turn into SCP-XXXX-1 in a span of 2 hours wooden materials coming in contact with SCP-XXXX-B will be converted into another SCP-XXXX instance and start growing leaves and sprouting branches almost immediately after contact.
SCP-XXXX-C is an Toxic substance that is only produced if SCP-XXXX is disturbed or harmed during its hybrination period prolong exposure to SCP-XXXX-C will cause the tissue inside of the lungs to rapidly decompose eventually causing the subject to die in a span of 10 minutes. If one of the SCP-XXXX instances began producing SCP-XXXX-C the others will also began producing the substance.
Humans that inhales SCP-XXXX-B or comes into direct skin contact with SCP-XXXX-A will slowly turn into an SCP-XXXX-1. in a span of 5 days with each day the subject infected will go through many different changes the first 12 hours of infection the eyes will turn bloodshot red and they will show sign of extreme stress, anxiety and the need to escape if confined resulting in the victims because highly aggressive to non infected personal it is highly recommended that all subjects showing signs of infection are terminated before the 36 hours mark of initial infection.
SCP-XXXX-1 instances are capable of producing SCP-XXXX-A via the sweat glands. They will actively try to lure uninfected people with the scent produced, in aims of spreading the infection.
SCP-XXXX-1 are able to articulate in perfect English; it doesn’t matter if the SCP-XXXX-1’s English wasn’t perfect or if the SCP-XXXX-1 instance didn’t speak English pre-infection. If a member of personnel tries to talk to a SCP-XXXX-1 instance about their personal details, they will be violently attacked by the SCP-XXXX-1 instance. It is unknown if SCP-XXXX-1 doesn’t want to talk about their personal information or if they don’t remember their personal information. It is unknown why the instances react with it
Infection times varies as children will tend to go through the infection process faster but will perish and harden after 3 days of infection. corpses are not to be approached because any non infected entity be it animal or human that gets close to the SCP-XXXX-1 corpses will cause it to burst sending a cloud of SCP-XXXX-B and sharp barbs in all directions. Infected adults will go through a metamorphosis after the third day after infection the skin on SCP-XXXX-1 will harden making lower caliber bullets ineffective it will also change the subject's pigment into a dark gray or black color and spines or barbs will protrude from the skin.
Animals that are transformed into SCP-XXXX-1s will gather around SCP-XXXX and is speculated that there only purpose is to act as biomass for SCP-XXXX-2 nests. They go through the same stages as Humans SCP-XXXX-1s only difference is are usually passive and are extremely timid of the non infected after the first two days of initial infection only exception are animals that are carnivorous or have a high prey drive
After the 36 hour mark of an animal being turned into SCP-XXXX-1s will attempt to impale themselves on to the barbs on the bark of SCP-XXXX itself and be partially absorbed into it. It is unknown why birds are unaffected by SCP-XXXX-A or SCP-XXXX-B but researchers theorize that much like bees and flowers and have an mutual relationship between birds and SCP-XXXX that helps with the reproduction cycle. If an normal Olk tree is touched by SCP-XXXX-A or SCP-XXXX-B even if it a small amount lands on a small piece of root or a stick it will transform into another SCP-XXXX Instance in 10 days. Different species of trees take longer to transform into SCP-XXXX as of now we do not know why this is but it also effects Houses ,fences or electricity polls made entirely out of wood too.
