SCP-xxx is a seemingly normal "Cannon EOS 6D Mark II" camera and it does seem to display any anomalous traits, SCP-xxx has several scratch marks on the lens and the neck strap is very worn and ripped in several places.
SCP-xxx has a mild psionic field that draws people towards it to get them to touch it where it will then become stuck to the subjects hand. if a picture is taken with SCP-xxx any artificial object or persons that are captured in the picture will be destroyed by unknown means this could cause a massive breach of containment or loss of staff. SCP-xxx is immune to damage of any type and any object or person who attempts to destroy SCP-xxx will be destroyed as though a photo had been taken.
SCP-xxx was discovered in [REDACTED], California where residents reported that an entire house and all its residents save for one middle age man with SCP-xxx in his hands, agents arrived to the mans corpse in the front yard a hole in his head, a gun in one hand and SCP-xxx in the other.
containment procedures:
SCP-xxx is to be kept in a sealed 1x1x1m glass box that is not be opened without approval from Dr.[REDACTED] and two 05's. due to a mild psionic field researchers are to be at least 6 meters from SCP-xxx at all times. due to the nature of this SCP under no circumstances is it to be touched by any members of research or security staff, if a staff member touches SCP-xxx they will be classified as SCP-xxx-1 from then on and are to be terminated by means of nerve agent.
addendum xxx-A [2019/7/19]
at approximately [REDACTED] a security member was seen entering SCP-xxx's containment chamber. breaking the glass and proceeding to take several photos which included several containment cells and several offices including [DATA EXPUNGED] he then turned the camera towards his face and took a final photo, 36 hours later a massive breach of containment occurred that resulted in millions of dollars in damages, mass loss of staff and several dangerous SCP's getting loose nearly causing a breach of secrecy, all SCP's were recovered and re-contained.
addendum xxx-B [2019/9/16]
during a termination test of SCP-xxx just before a small vat of hydrochloric acid was poured on xxx a humanoid entity now known as xxx-2 appeared and through unknown means jammed the vats control arm it then dissipated and hasn't reappeared since.
