Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX instances are to be kept in a 50 x 25 x 45 cm aquarium filled with fresh water, which is to be maintained between a temperature of 24 to 27°C.

Description: SCP-XXXX is an aquatic creature with qualities of both fish and bird life, and exhibits a carnivorous diet. It has only been discovered in North America.

Direct viewing or viewing of pictures will induce migraines, Nausea, and exposure lasting more than 5 hours will cause the ceasing of all life functions. Though illustrations have shown to not induce this effect. Some instances of SCP-XXXX have shown to reach lengths of roughly 6 meters and the average weight of an instance is 25 kg.

Discovery: The First Recorded SCP-XXXX instance was found by a marine biologist in Lake Michigan-Huron, after coming to the Foundations attention the marine biologist was administered Class-A amenstics and all research destroyed, the SCP-XXXX instances found were put into Foundation Custody for further testing.

Procedure: D-Class coming into physical contact with an SCP-XXXX instance

Results: D-Class reported having a headache after looking at the SCP-XXXX instance but didn't report any change after coming into direct contact with the instance and then later vomited when being returned to his cell.

Analysis: SCP-XXXX instances induce Migraines and Nausea on visual exposure.

Test B - 30/07/2009

Subject: A single SCP-XXXX instance

Procedure: D-Class forced to view an SCP-XXXX instance for 12 hours

Results:

9 AM: Test Start
10 AM: Reported Headache
11 AM: D-Class Starts vomiting
12 AM: D-Class Begins crying
1 PM: D-Class Expires and the test is aborted.

Analysis: Prolonged exposure to instances causes severe symptoms followed by death
