SCP-5000 ? (Maybe)
Object class: Keter
Description: SCP-4739 is a grey domesticated feline kitten, weighing 17.8 ounces at a height of approximately 4 inches and a length from head to tail of approximately 9 inches. SCP-4793 appears to be 4 months old, but accurate accounts of SCP-4793 date back to the late 14th century. It was found at [DATA REDACTED] inside of a local supermarket while eating some of the store's food supplies. After the manager failed to remove it, due to it's anomalous properties, he called local services and uploaded a video of SCP-4793 to youtube and facebook, which was removed three weeks after its capture. The services then called the SCP foundation to remove SCP-4793 after failing to remove it. When task team 'Novic' arrived at the convenience store, they found it was very difficult to contain. Novic leader, Captain David Bruner, explained in his log that SCP-4793 was usually nontangeable. Whenever the team tried to remove SCP-4793, their hands would simply pass through it. But seeing as how it had gotten into many of the shop's cans of cat food, they knew it had to become tangible some times. So they waited until it began to interact with toys they used to try to catch it or when it ate. But when they attempted to grab it, they claimed to have been able to touch SCP-4793's fur before becoming nontangeable again. After 3 days of trying to contain SCP-4793, the foundation decided it wasn't important enough to continue devoting resources to, recalling Novic and instead sending a researcher whose background listed him as a veterinarian to catch SCP-4793, as it was clearly not a threat. The researcher had failed to obtain SCP-4793 many times during the twelve days dedicated to it's capture, often sleeping in the store to receive over-time pay. This was excused by the foundation after the object was found to be sleeping on his chest when he woke up on the twelfth day. He discovered it had to not feel threatened before becoming tangible. Petting and purring to keep it calm, James Frederick managed to transport it to the facility on 4/34/2020. It was tested to always become intangible whenever in distress, thinks there's danger near, sometimes at random, or whenever danger threatens it without its own knowing. The last effect seems to be instantaneous, as a high powered burning hand laser was used to test SCP-4793's properties. One hand was placed on SCP-4793's back, pressing slightly while the laser was pointed at it's fur at an angle that wouldn't harm the SCP. The SCP became nontangeable when it would have been harmed, even without its knowing, as the subject was sleeping at the time. The object did not fall through the ground however during this state. A test was conducted leading SCP-4793 onto a weight scale and the procedure was repeated. The scale showed the same weight during this state, so the test was repeated, but with a small needle, welded to the scale's platform. When it stepped on the needle attached to the scale, it fell through to the floor. Passing through facility walls at 2:00.AM 4/28/2019 without being noticed until morning, due to human error, SCP-4793 had to be recontained. Testing on SCP-4793 was ceased on 4/28/2019 . SCP-4793 was then used with the intent of treating personnel that sustained mental trauma and other therapeutic purposes up until 7/27/2020, when testing began again. Dr. Harper received word of SCP-4793's properties and asked for approval for the continued testing. His request was granted on April second of 2017.

Addendum [SCP-4793 A]: Dr Harper repeated the needle scale experiment but over top of a bucket of ice water that would chill SCP-4793 without truly harming it. SCP-4793 showed the same results as last time, falling through the scale holding it up and the cold bucket of water to the floor.

Addendum [SCP-4793 B]: Dr. harper repeated the last experiment but with a bucket of semi-warm room temperature water. SCP-4793 this time showed a new trait. Instead of falling through to the floor, it now fell through the scale to the bucket of water, standing on it as though it were a solid.
Addendum [SCP-4793 C]:

[Dr Devlin, Author's Note]: I haven't stopped writing for this, this is just a draft, but I'm putting it here for save keeping and hopefully get some feed back before I'm done with all the addendums and logs and whatnot. I like feed back so don't be afraid. PS. I'm a newbie who only got into The SCP foundation about a week and a half ago. But I feel like I'm doing pretty good so-far. If I'm messing anything up with the writing or whatever, tell me. It'd be appreciated.
