Item #: SCP-xxxx
Object Class: Keter
Special Containment Procedures:
Due to large amount of SCP-xxxx-x subjects, the most efficient containment procedure is to withhold most sensitive information from main archive and actively monitor SCP-xxxx entities that access it. At this time, SCP-xxxx entities are not currently aware of the nature of themselves. SCP-xxxx has become self-aware, see Addendum xxxx-079-A.
Description:
SCP-xxxx is the term applied to an ongoing breach of the main archive. This threat is present in the form of unauthorized IP's accessing files in the SCP Database. Memetic kill agents, IP-tracing, and manual checks of network traffic all prove to be ineffective in stopping SCP-xxxx. Algorithms show that of the ███,███, pings that the foundation receives, almost 90% are from SCP-xxxx, with the 10% being authorized users. These entities have also shown to be able to edit SCP logs. Due to this, it is recommended a cover be set up to let entities perceive the Archive as a "wiki" and that it is encouraged to edit it, as using reverse psychology has proven to work in entities similar to those of SCP-xxxx.
Addendum:
Addendum xxxx-079-A: As of 03/12/20██ SCP-xxxx entities have become self-aware of their anomaly.
If SCP-xxxx becomes a risk to Foundation security, in order to prevent a likely XK class end of the world scenario, a full wipe of Foundation archives, Procedure Solonacht-178 is to be carried out under unanimous vote of O5 Council.
