Danger Level Classes

The danger rating of an SCP is how much it can do harm or good can the SCP do, and may be related to the object class of the SCP. Note that this is different from the object level class. The object class is used to measure the difficulty to contain, but the danger class is used for how much harm or good it can cause. It is very important to know this, so that in case an containment breach happens, personnel would know what to do, and researchers can determine the dangerous or constructive potential of a certain SCP, and what to prevent it.

CLASSES

Minor
Minor SCPs are SCPs that pose negligible, if not, any harm towards life, civilization, or the universe. These are usually easy to contain, as they can't do anything harmful to staff, personnel, or the containment room. No protocol, forces, or methods needed for breaches this level.

Neutral
Neutral objects are usually not threatening. It can harm and to minor damage to other organisms and objects, but are still easy to deal with and contain. Minor protocols or breach methods can take care of this small level of anomaly.

Normal
These SCPs do a regular, but not outstanding amount of harm or damage. At most, they can cause a few minor wounds in organisms, or a few scrape marks on the wall. Not a huge threat. May require large or medium protocols, and forces may be needed to re contain. Level 2 personnel required for access.

Severe
These SCPs are severe and may be hard to contain properly. SCPs in this class can harm life, but not destroy it. Made up diseases related to real life non lethal diseases, or creatures that may cause harm or good are in this class. Objects in this class may rarely become lethal. Mobile Task Force may need to respond, and protocols and safety measures should be used incase of containment breach. Level 3 personnel required for access.

Lethal
Lethal SCPs are well, lethal. Can kill 1 or more people every attack. May cause catastrophic damage to containment units. A lot of euclid class SCPs, such as SCP-173 are in this class. These SCPs need to be contained with extreme caution, or else may resolve in death. Mobile Task Forces must respond to lethal classed object containment breaches or threats. Note that every class above lethal can only be accessed by level 4 personnel or higher.

Major
These SCPs can easily harm an entire area, and kill hundreds to thousands of people if breached. A lot of keter classed objects are in this level, because SCPs that can easily harm entire areas are super hard to contain. In case of a containment breach, MTFs will flood the entire area, and quarantine and contain the subject. Any SCP above this class must be handled with 100% caution, and is not recommended to do research on unless authorized by level 4 personnel or higher.

Catastrophic
Objects in this class are dangerous enough to cause massive harm to entire cities, and are extremely hard to contain. Viruses such as Ebola and SCP-217, and creatures such as SCP-682 are fitted in this class, due to there ability of causing mass destruction to nearby regions. In case of a containment breach of a major classed object, the entire area, region, or even city must be quarantined and blocked out, and MTFs must secure the entire area and neutralize the threat. Warning, anything above this line can only be accessed by Level 5 personnel or government related staff.

Continental
These threats are almost impossible to contain. Cases like these can get so bad, MTFs and other security protocols become completely useless, and even the government must be noticed of this. If left uncontained, entire countries and states could be damaged by this. If a containment breach happens to one of these, the government must take instant action in order to ensure full safety. Millions of people will die in each anomaly.

Global
SCPs that are in this class possess a global threat, and can potentially wipe out all life on Earth. Billions of people can die in these scenarios, and if not treated extremely well, life will be over. In case a containment breach of this level even happens, all NATO forces must be alerted, and all countries must try their best to contain and neutralize the threat.

Stellar
No SCP has ever reached farther than global, so this section is [DATA EXPUNGED]
