Description: SCP-####-1 is a member of the Acomys Percivali family of Rodents. Like all other Acomus Percival I, SCP-####-1 is able to deglove it's tail at will, SCP-####-1 is capable of regenerating it's tail immediately. In some instances, the tail has been forcefully ejected by SCP-####-1 at a velocity of 3 Metres per second.

Once separated, the tail can be controlled by SCP-####-1 and has been observed to move in a manner akin to a serpent, even being able to climb cracks and crevices. Most notable, however, is the tail's ability to open any conventional lock. Upon testing, any lock utilizing a key has opened the moment the tail was inserted into the opening. In no occasion was the tail seen to directly manipulate any of the pins within the locks tested.

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-#### is to remain suspended in an electromagnetic field, with no objects or constructs within a radius of 1 Metre of the entity, in a modified Radioactive Entity Cell. Scp-####'s Containment Chamber must remain at a pressure of 40 MPa, with a remotely controlled pressurising airlock providing access.

Due to conditions inside the Containment Chamber, all personnel must wear appropriate protection when entering and must not have any magnetic materials on their person.(See addendums “####-E-1.5. Required PPE” and "####-P-1.2. Personnel Requirements" for further details.) SCP-####’s Containment Chamber is to be checked every 24 hours for any signs of stress or damage, either to the structure of the chamber itself or to the Electromagnets.

In the event of a power outage, backup generators will activate to keep the electromagnets and pressurisation systems operational, with local power reserves serving to sustain these systems for up to 48 hours in the case of total power failure. In the event that the electromagnets cease functioning for any reason, a Containment Breach is to be declared and MTF-## are to enact procedure ####-Alpha-6 while maintenance teams resolve the issue(s).

Description: SCP-#### is an entity resembling a rudimentary AI, though no part of it's source code is hosted on any digital or analogue software or hardware. SCP-#### can instead be hosted within any one physical object (One iron model of a soldier as of it's current containment). Points of physical contact can be used by SCP-#### to transfer itself from one object to another, including but not limited to; lamps, tables, chairs, cooking appliances, televisions, computers, wires, pipes and walls.

Once an object has become host to SCP-#### it will gain ability to ambulate through existing or improvised means. SCP-#### has shown itself capable of manipulating it's host's molecular structure to form pseudopods when no other means of mobility are present. The full extent of SCP-####’s control over molecular particles is not known at this time.

+ Discovery

The foundation was alerted to SCP-####'s existence when engineers at the Chernobyl New Safe Confinement reported being attacked by the reactor. An agent working in the CNSC contacted the foundation, who in turn gained approval from the Ukrainian government to send a team to the site. When containment teams arrived, they were guided to the entrance to the original Shelter Structure.

After establishing a perimeter and speaking with the survivors of the first entry attempts, the initial Containment Team gained entry to the Sarcophagus. Inside, they found SCP-#### in the process of sifting through radioactive waste, storing what it could in the remains of the reactor it had hosted itself in.

Believing SCP-#### to be the reactor itself, the initial force deployed an EMP in the hopes of disabling the entity long enough to give them an opportunity to contain it. However, SCP-#### transferred itself into one of the adjoining pipes and began assaulting the agent who had deployed the EMP device. Upon realising SCP-#### was not the reactor itself, the containment team fell back to treat Agent Kairn's injuries and updated mission command, who deployed MTF-## in response.

MTF-## were able to deduce from he available intelligence that SCP-#### was at least drawn to radioactivity. Working on this assumption, they requested a sample of Polonium. Once the sample arrived, MTF-## we're able to draw SCP-#### out of the Sarcophagus and into a small cart they had placed the radioactive element into.

Though SCP-#### began rolling towards the exit as the cart, MTF-## we're able to stop it's escape and transfer the Polonium and SCP-#### into a shielded container on a lorry. Thinking they had contained the SCP, MTF contacted Mission Control with the all-clear, I forming them they were on the way to Site ##.

Mission Control recieved a request for reinforcements, MedEvac and supplies approximately 28 minutes later. SCP-#### had transferred itself through the vehicle's parts and taken control of the front axle, detaching both front wheels of the lorry at a speed of 50-55 MPH. The resulting crash killed both Agents in the cab and injured 4 other Task Force Agents.

Reinforcements were informed of SCP-####'s observed anomalous properties and informed by Mission Control to retrieve the Polonium and use it to lure the entity into a small, magnetised object, allowing them to transport SCP-#### while minimising risk of it touching and transferring to anything else. Agent Hannover suggested one of his spare, unpainted miniature soldiers.

Agent Hannover's miniature was placed on a door that had broken off the lorry, with the Polonium sample resting on it's base. SCP-#### transferred itself to the door as soon as it was able, then moved itself into the miniature soldier. Immediately, the soldier let go of the gun's barrel to pick up the sample, but 4 MTF-## members encircled SCP-#### and activated their Directed Electromagnetic Field Projectors, successfully establishing initial Containment of the entity.

+ Addendum: ####-E-1.5. Required PPE

Any individuals wishing to enter SCP-####’s Containment Chamber must wear Personal Protection Equipment consisting of modified deep-diving suits. These suits are capable of withstanding up to 100 MPa of pressure while providing decent mobility for the wearer and considerable protection against radiation. All PPE is to be regularly maintained and should any damage be observed, replacement suits are available by filing a Replacement Request with the Site Director.

+ Addendum: ####-P-1.2. Personnel Requirements

Any personnel with Pacemakers are not permitted to work with SCP-####. Personnel with pins holding any bones or joints together, or any form of metallic implants must have said implants replaced with non-magnetic counterparts. Any metallic accessories are to be removed before working with SCP-####.

+ Addendum: Procedure ####-Alpha-6

In the event of a Containment Breach, MTF Task Force ## are to saturate any one of the pre-approved objects with ionised radiation, luring SCP-#### to it. No attempts are to be made to engage the entity until it has transferred itself to the lure object.

Once the status of the new host has been confirmed, MTF-## are to return SCP-#### to it's Containment Chamber, utilising an electromagnetic field to hold the entity without establishing physical contact. The Containment Chamber 's internal pressure must be 5 MPa until such time as SCP-#### has been recontained and MTF-## have left the chamber. At this point, air pressure inside is to return to the level indicated in the Special Containment Procedures.
