Per 
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a locked 1m x 8m x 2m chest within Site-██. No personnel are to interact with SCP-XXXX without level 4 or above clearance. Any interaction with SCP-XXXX is to be supervised by at least level 3 or above personnel. Testing where subjects will interact with SCP-XXXX for significant periods of time must be overseen by a minimum of 7 trained personnel equipped with assault weapons and at least one anti-tank weapon in the case of an SCP-XXXX-2 manifestation.
All SCP-XXXX-1 instances must be terminated or amnesticed prior to transformation into SCP-XXXX-2. Any instances of SCP-XXXX-2 are to be terminated immediately.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a standard stainless steel Olympic barbell measuring 2.2 meters in length and 20 kg in weight. Any persons that are within a 22.91 23.06 23.12 meter radius of SCP-XXXX and have SCP-XXXX within their line of sight feel a strong compulsion to begin exercising with SCP-XXXX. This does not extend to viewing through recorded video or a photograph. The strength of this compulsion varies depending on factors such as the subjects overall athleticism and their familiarity with weightlifting. SCP-XXXX’s compulsion is directly correlated to levels of testosterone, causing women to be significantly less affected by the urge to use SCP-XXXX.
Once a subject makes direct physical contact with SCP-XXXX, they become an instance of SCP-XXXX-1. There can only be one SCP-XXXX-1 at one time, as if a person touches SCP-XXXX while there is an existing SCP-XXXX-1, no anomalous events occur. If there is an existing SCP-XXXX-1, there is no compulsion for anyone other than SCP-XXXX-1 to interact with SCP-XXXX. Usage of amnestics on SCP-XXXX proves effective in 56.4% of cases, however, in 43.6% of cases, the compulsion continues even without memory of SCP-XXXX, and the subject must be terminated.
Any additional equipment needed for the exercises SCP-XXXX-1 desires to do spontaneously appears in the vicinity. Weight plates also appear on the barbell, the total weight corresponding with the strength of SCP-XXXX-1.
SCP-XXXX-1 has no other goal or desire other than to train using SCP-XXXX. If different a barbell or weight is given to SCP-XXXX-1, it will refuse to train with anything other than SCP-XXXX. SCP-XXXX-1 has no biological need for food, water, rest, or sleep, doing nothing other than exercising.
SCP-XXXX-1 will experience a ███% to ████% increase in muscle mass per hour while using SCP-XXXX. The created muscle mass is also ███ times stronger per pound than normal human muscle mass. The internal organs experience heightened functionality (i.e, heart pumps faster and harder, lungs take in more air, blood cells absorb more oxygen than scientifically possible, etc.). More importantly, all biological tissue is much stronger and much more durable than normal.
After approximately 12-18 hours of training (although in some cases, as little as █ hours of SCP-XXXX use have sufficed for entry into the next stage), the behavior of SCP-XXXX-1 will change, its objective will become the destruction of any object in its vicinity other than SCP-XXXX. At this point, subjects cannot be recovered, and all higher brain function i The subject is now known as SCP-XXXX-2 and SCP-XXXX regains its anomalous properties. SCP-XXXX-2 instances are 3-6 feet taller than when they first were affecSCP-XXXX, and oftentimes weigh over 800 kg.
At this point, SCP-XXXX-2 instances are extremely dangerous and must be terminated immediately. Instances of SCP-XXXX-2 are immune to 99.8% of lethal toxins and poisons, are impervious to bullets and are strong enough to punch through several feet of concrete and level skyscrapers.

Test #1
D-5278 is an overweight American male in his 30s of average build. D-5278 has not played competitive sports since the age of 7 and has relatively low testosterone levels.
D-5278 was told not to touch SCP-XXXX before entering the test chamber and threatened with termination if he disobeyed.
D-5278 enters the testing chamber, with SCP-XXXX lying unguarded in the center of the room.
D-5278: Are you sure I can’t touch it, Doc?
Dr. Eageler: (Through loudspeaker) I told you, you will be immediately terminated if you do.
D-5278: I know, but it just feels like its the only thing I need to do.
Dr. Eageler: Please stand by.
5 minutes pass. D-5278 constantly started at SCP-XXXX, but follows orders.
Dr. Eageler: You may now interact with SCP-XXXX if you so please.
D-5278 immediately runs over to SCP-XXXX, and begins to do back squats. A squat rack materializes out of thin air, and two 45 pound plates appear on either side of SCP- XXXX. SCP-XXXX-1 has perfect squatting form, despite previously claiming he had never lifted weights in his life.
After 5 minutes of SCP-XXXX usage, all fat is gone from SCP-XXXX-1’s body. SCP-XXXX-1 begins to do bench press, for which a bench and a rack immediately materialize, with two 35 pound plates on either side replacing the 45 pound plates.
After 20 minutes of various exercises, SCP-XXXX-1 is visibly far more muscular, and lifting plates marked as 100 pounds despite being the same size as the previous 45 pound plates.
After 2 hours of lifting, SCP-XXXX-1 is approximately eight inches taller,and appears to weigh approximately 150 kg of pure muscle. Extreme amounts of weight are listed on the plates being used, despite the weight far exceeding what a normal Olympic barbell could withstand without breaking.
After 4 hours of use, SCP-XXXX-1 weighs an estimated 400 kg and is 2.5 feet taller than he was initially. At this point, SCP-XXXX-1 was terminated via a cyanide pill previously implanted in his heart that burst upon remote activation.
Test #2
D-7490 is a Puerto Rican male in his mid 20s with a lean, athletic build. Subject is very phyiscally fit and was a varsity track star in high school.
D-7490 enters the testing chamber blindfolded, with SCP-XXXX lying a few meters in front of him.
Dr. Eageler: (Through loudspeaker) Remember, if you touch the barbell, you will be immediately terminated.
D-7490: I get it, I get it. Now can I take the fucking blindfold off, cabrón?
Dr. Eageler: Please do not use profa— Never mind. You may remove the blindfold.
As soon as D-7490 removes the blindfold and sees SCP-XXXX, he rushes to use SCP-XXXX, despite threats of termination.
D-7490 begins doing bicep curls with SCP-XXXX, with plates appearing on either side.//Dr. Eageler: D-7490, you will be terminated if you do not stop what you are doing immediately and leave the testing chamber.
SCP-XXXX-1 does not make any action indicating that he even heard the command.
After 30 minutes, SCP-XXXX-1 has become extremely muscular, with a physique comparable to professional bodybuilders. It should be noted that at this point, the previous SCP-XXXX-1 was not nearly as muscular.D-7427 is ordered to enter the testing chamber and stop SCP-XXXX-1 from using SCP-XXXX. It is of note that D-7427 was close to D-7490.
D-7427: (to SCP-XXXX-1) Hey man, I really need you to stop. They told me that they're gonna kill me if I can't get you to stop.
SCP-XXXX-1 makes no action acknowledging D-7427.
D-7427: Buddy, could you do me this one favor? My sentence is almost over. I got a kid back home, and I'm really looking forward to seeing her again. Remember when I let you have some of my food? Remember how everyone was picking on you when you first got here? Remember how I helped you out? Please man, I really wanna see my little girl.
SCP-XXXX-1 still makes no action acknowledging D-7427
D-7427: (to Dr. Eageler): Doc, he's not doing anything. It don't even look like he can hear me. I don't think I can make him stop. Could I please go now?
Dr. Eageler: Please attempt to remove SCP-XXXX by force.
D-7427 (to Dr. Eageler): Please man, I just wanna see my daughter.
Dr. Eageler: You will be terminated if you fail to comply.
//D-7427 attempts to remove SCP-XXXX from SCP-XXXX-1's grip, which results in SCP-XXXX-1 grabbing D-7427's neck with one hand and crushing his trachea. SCP-XXXX-1 returns to exercising while D-7427's body is recovered. SCP-XXXX-1 exhibits no hostile behavior towards the recovery team.
Test #3
Note: Dr. Eageler was not present for this test, as he was stationed at another Site at the time. Junior Researcher ███████ was overseeing this test.
D-2573 is an American male of very muscular build. An ex-pro strongman, D-2573 is extremely familiar with weights and weightlifting.
Junior Researcher ███████ (through loudspeaker): D-2573, please enter the chamber. You may do as you please once you are inside.
D-2573: You sure there ain't some kinda monster inside or some shit like that?
Junior Researcher ███████: Please refrain from using explicit language, as this is going in the official test log. And no, there are no monsters inside the chamber, just one 20 kilogram barbell.
D-2573: A barbell? Now that's something I can get behind.
//Upon entering the chamber, **D-2573 immediately begins using SCP-XXXX, doing 500 pound deadlifts even before SCP-XXXX-1 begins to gain anomalous muscle and strength.
30 minutes into the test, SCP-XXXX-1 is already at an estimated weight of 250 kilograms with an estimated 5% body fat. SCP-XXXX-1 has broken several powerlifting world records by margins of over 400%.
4 hours into the test, SCP-XXXX-1 is at a height of 2.8 meters, an weighs an estimated 700 kilograms. Testing has shown that 50 caliber bullets are unable to penetrate SCP-XXXX-1's skin.
At 6 hours of usage of SCP-XXXX, SCP-XXXX-1 transforms into SCP-XXXX-2, measuring over 12 feet tall and weighing over 1200 kilograms. SCP-XXXX-2 goes on a rampage, easily breaking out of its containment chamber and causing ██ casualties while rampaging through Site-██. SCP-XXXX-2 was finally neutralized when it entered the containment chamber of SCP-███, where it was accidentally neutralized.
This was allowed to happen because Junior Researcher ███████ blatantly ignored safety protocol and left SCP-XXXX-1 unsupervised during a trip to the bathroom at the 4.5 hour mark, where she fell asleep on the toilet. Following this incident, Junior Researcher ███████ was demoted to D-Class and was killed by SCP-███ one week later.
