Special Containment Procedures: If SCP-4231. Inhales more than once before continuing to exhale, all personnel in the room, if within the age of legal recognition adulthood, must slowly turn away and proceed to get on their hands and knees. If SCP-4231 isn’t convinced they’re not a threat, it will likely move next to them to view them at a close distance. If by then SCP-4231 is not convinced it will proceed to grab them by the throat region and pick them up off the ground. The person being picked up must not resist the actions of SCP-4231, they must cooperate as it proceeds to test them. After 15 seconds of holding them, SCP-4231 will proceed to secrete one of three scented, black liquids. The liquids have been titled SCP-4231.1 , SCP-4231.2 and SCP-4231.3, each of the liquids are the same shade of black and the same consistency as molasses, but most importantly each have a different scent. SCP-4231.1 smells like Lemon and Roses. SCP-4231.2 smells like Lavender. SCP-4231.3 smells like Cherries. Then SCP-4231 will proceed to place the person gently on the ground before making a clicking noise a inconsistent number of times. The amount of times it clicked corresponds to a number of hours they have to find a flower representing the scent of the liquid it secreted. The connections of the scents and the flowers are below.

These can be found at the entrance to SCP-4231’s containment unit or in Dr. Eduardo’s office desk . Once the correct flower alone is acquired SCP-4231 will not see them as a threat and will cooperate with them with no signs of further hostilities towards that specific person again, in fact SCP-4231 seems to be friendly to anyone who proved to not be a threat.

Description: according to descriptions and drawings by minors who came into contact with SCP-4231, it allegedly has a more friendly appearance to the eyes of those not considered adults. According to the info gathered, in the eyes of children SCP-4231 has pearlescent white skin and is luminescent. They also refer to SCP-4231 as Izak, all of them spelled it the same way, despite only 43% of them were literate, only 14% knew each other and all of them claim SCP-4231 doesn’t speak to them. SCP-4231 does not appear the same in the eye of the adults who have observed it, not even the ones SCP-4231 has befriended. In the eyes of an adult SCP-4231 is black and is luminescent but it seems to cast a light that is black similar to a shadow, but seems to work with the properties of light, with its “shadow” being seen casted Between it and and a light source. SCP-4231’s eyes seem to be a crystal of some sort, one that seems to shift shade depending on the mood of the SCP, working like a mood ring. SCP-4231’s body is almost always dripping with SCP-4231.(1,2,3) but never seems to actually make contact with the ground and objects it touches. Its worth mentioning SCP-4231’s ability to make clicking noises without a mouth is still a unknown.
Additional Notes: SCP-4231 seems very friendly towards other SCPs. In regards to failing to meet the Special Containment Procedures Dr. William Eduardo would like to mention out of six people who have failed to follow the Special Containment Procedures one lived, Prof. Welcher, who was willing to be interviewed by Dr. Eduardo about her traumatic experience with SCP-4231.

Welcher: [lifts face mask to speak] I forgive you, I was not carful and suffered the consequences. It’s all in the past.
Eduardo As much as I would like to feel like that’s the case, your scars make me feel like it’s never gonna be water under the bridge.
Welcher … I don’t mind that much… but I think we should move on with the interview. We won’t learn anything if we just apologize the whole time.

Welcher I was about to write ‘do you understand?’ On a piece of paper for the literacy test, but when I clicked my pen, I heard it inhale seven times.

Eduardo From what we have learned the subject normally inhales more times the more threatened it feels and how less forgiving it will be.
