Item #: SCP-
Object Class: Keter
Traits [REDACTED]
Description: SCP- is a complex form of an unknown substance that forms through openings in space and time. The substance is a rare material that still has yet to be identified. It is difficult to contain the substance due to the fact that it is formed by openings in space and time (also known as rifts) and can transport itself through reality. If any organisms are affected by SCP-, their symptoms may include:
- Unawareness of time or surroundings, which can lead to serious harm
- Unpredicted and significant growth in certain areas such as in one’s digital or pectoral areas
- Faster division of cells which can cause cancerous effects and have lethal effects on vital organs
- Sudden change of blood color (Typically purple)
- Unexpected aging or aging faster than normal
Certain studies show that SCP- is a naturally occurring substance that is found throughout the vast universe and not just the planet Earth. It is predicted that the further a rift leads through space, the more chances of the occurrence of SCP- there are. This can lead to a necessary evacuation of any nearby inhabited areas. SCP- is only known to affect:
- Living Organisms with a blood type of O for unknown reasons
- Living Organisms with a weak immune system
- Any naturally occurring bacteria
There are currently no cure or solutions to aid those who have been affected by SCP-. If anyone is thought to have been affected by SCP- they must be properly contained immediately.
Containment Procedures: Currently SCP - has no indefinite containment procedure which can hold it for any sustaining period of time. At the moment the only way to contain SCP- is through using specialized containment tubes. If not carefully watched SCP- can materialize itself out of the tube and seek out any living organisms within a one-hundred-meter radius. If this were to happen any nearby areas with a significant population will be asked to be evacuated.
If a living organism is needed to be contained in thoughts of contamination, the organism must be immediately transported to a secure holding facility with no openings in the containment unit with exceptions to ones that provide Oxygen, H₂O or any other need material to sustain life. In no cases should an infected specimen be eliminated for any reason. If the specimen is deemed to be hostile, it must be properly contained within a holding cell that is properly sealed with the above requirements.
