Special Containment Procedures: A series of High Powered Scranton Reality Anchors, that are activated on site, are to be positioned on the SCP-XXXX-a side of the SCP-XXXX/ SCP-XXXX-a border and powered by a three tiered backup generators, to decrease the probability of an SCP-XXXX related EHF Event.
Any government or civilian initiatives to send probes or manned missions to explore or colonize SCP-XXXX are to be heavily monitored and/or stifled at the discretion of Dr.██████. Any non-foundation projects that do go forward with exploration of SCP-XXXX must be clandestinely intercepted to either malfunction or land in a previously designated safe zone on SCP-XXXX.
After detection of SCP-XXXX related Entangled Hume Fluctuation Events, Mobile Task Force Iota-60 (Merchants of Venus), are tasked with the retrieval and subsequent concealment of any SCP-XXXX EHF Events that occur within the vicinity of any significant population centers.

Description: SCP-XXXX is 99.783% of the planet commonly known as Venus. Currently, the planet has widely fluctuating Hume levels, with the first abnormal measurements reaching 643 Humes 9,650 Kilometres above the planet, and 12 Humes on the surface of SCP-XXXX. Currently, no known relation has been found between the Hume level and elevation of the measurement, though all measurements are consistent within the given elevation, with the exception of SCP-XXXX-a.
Abnormal properties of SCP-XXXX are noticeable at the border regions of SCP-XXXX and SCP-XXXX-a, and the ‘Hume Cliff’ of 0.57 meters in width that exists between the two areas, though only when a subject with reality bending abilities is located inside SCP-XXXX-a and projects out towards SCP-XXXX, see Addendum XXXX.2.
SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-2, collectively referred to as SCP-XXXX-a, are two conical regions of SCP-XXXX, extending from the upper atmosphere of Venus, and thought to descend down to the core, located at antipodes of each other. The regions of SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-2 are abnormal in that they give Hume measurements perfectly consistent with Baseline reality. SCP-XXXX-1 is the circular cross section of the surface given the designation of the Maxwell Montes, coordinates 65.2° N, 3.3 E°, encompassing an area of 12,637 km2. SCP-XXXX-2 is the exact opposite to SCP-XXXX-1, located South-East of the Aino Planitia, coordinates 65.2° S, 176.7° W, encompassing an area equal to that of SCP-XXXX-1.
Research into possible colonization and terraformation is ongoing, and all proposals to do so must be approved by at least two (2) 05s.

Discovery: SCP-XXXX was initially detected indirectly in 19██ as a result of an EHF Event occurring beneath SCP-████, setting off multiple on and off Site Kant Counter Alarms. Subsequent investigation found evidence of a highly pressurized air bubble 303 km below the surface, consisting of 96.1% Carbon Dioxide, 3.3% Nitrogen and 0.6% ██████. Analysis found an almost perfect match to that of the atmosphere of Venus. After several studies into the event and those following it, almost all could be found to have some form of connection to Venus, and was then classified as SCP-XXXX

Addendum XXXX.1: SCP-XXXX EHF Events
SCP-XXXX Entagles Hume Fluctuation Events are measured when the highly unstable border regions between SCP-XXXX and SCP-XXXX-a drop to 1.3x10-███ Humes. When such an event occurs, a sudden drop in the Hume Level of what seem to be random regions of Earth will occur at roughly 320 km below Earth's surface. Such events usually have negligible effects, though approximately 43% of SCP-XXXX EHF Events that have occurred since the discovery have resulted in noticeable effects to the surface, having produced at least ██ Keter Class SCP's in the process.

+ Addendum XXXX.2- Reality Manipulation Experimentation

All tests were done with Reality Benders located inside one of the SCP-XXXX-a.

4	IV	Created an almost perfect recreation of the Grand Canyon, Niagara Falls, and Machu Picchu, despite never having been to any of the mentioned locations, and revert all changes after exploration.
5	IV	Crew of Aphrodite III vanished from the surface of Venus, and reappeared instantaneously in Pusan, South Korea, the childhood home of the reality bender in question. Investigation found that the experiment led to the retroactive creation of ███ SCPs, including SCP-██, SCP-███, and SCP-████.

All further testing of SCP-XXXX with reality benders of any class must be approved by no less than seven (7) 05s.

Addendum XXXX.3: During a routine transport of a SRA to SCP-XXXX, the Aphrodite III drop pod passed through the surface of Venus after landing outside of SCP-XXXX-a. Subsequent tests were undertaken to understand the nature of the phenomenon.

The Anchors on board remained active for 27 minutes, as well as the Kant counters, and eventually lost power. Contact with the probe was lost shortly afterward.
1	SRA is activated and dropped from 10,000 km, aimed to land in SCP-XXXX-1.	SRA destroyed on impact, but evidence of impact could be found. Kant counter read steady throughout.
2	SRA is activated and dropped from 10,000 km, aimed to land outside SCP-XXXX-1.	SRA passes through the ground like Aphrodite IIII, contact lost after 30 minutes when the battery runs out. Battery usually lasts three hours in a 12 Hume Environment. Kant Counter becomes unsteady and fluctuates at 29 minutes.
3	SRA is activated on the surface of SCP-XXXX.	When Kant Counter reads 60, SRA falls through the ground. Camera feed shows the planet vanish except for SCP-XXXX-a. Contact lost after five seconds.
4	SRA is activated inside SCP-XXXX-1, and moved to SCP-XXXX.	SRA gets stuck on the border of SCP-XXXX and SCP-XXXX-1, causing several electrical arcs, and damaging the SRA enough to deactivate it.
5	SRA is activated on the border of SCP-XXXX and SCP-XXXX-1.	Inside SCP-XXXX-a, SCP-XXXX appeared to vanish, and gravity was greatly reduced. Earth based imagery showed no change. SRA was damaged shortly afterward.
