Special Containment Procedures:SCP-3455 located at Site-██ must be contained in a
15x15 225 square foot steel container supported off the ground by steel beams no larger than an area of 706.86 meters. The large steel container must be heated up to 1800°F every 1-2 days by multiple jet engines attached to each side of the containment cell. Conversation must not be spoken to someone or something in a distance of 100 Feet although sign language is unknown to SCP-3455. Containment cell must be seperated from Site-██ whether it be deep underground or a side extension.
If containment is breached systems are in place to seal the main airlock and to auto engage the jet engines for 1 hour until SCP-3455 is weakened and any instance of SCP-3455-2 and SCP-3455-3 is destroyed. while SCP-3455 is weakened it is to taken to Cell-2 where it is stored until Cell-1 is replaced and restored.
In the event the jet engines do not automatically engage a level 3 site engineer will manually start the engines from the control room with assistance from researchers if needed.
up to 5 guards must be stationed at SCP-3455 containment cell at all times and must patrol the area in look for any instances of SCP-3455-2
Description:
Only level 3 Researchers are allowed near SCP-3455 containment cell-1 and cell-2
SCP-3455 was discovered on ██/████/██ and is a medium sized mass of shadow like substance mixed with blood, ink and rubber and will leak liquid made out of the same material listed at most times SCP-3455 levitates but can grow legs and stand. SCP-3455 has a featureless face on the head like feature on its body but does not use this to communicate. SCP-3455 may have arm or even leg like appendages that extend out of the side, front or bottom of the main body if enraged or angered the body and appendages can grow to up 10 times its normal size. Using this it can rip its containment cell open.
SCP-3455 has a telepathic ability to only heard subjects no conversation is to be held in a 100 feet area of SCP-3455's chamber as to stop although such means as coughing sneezing and other sounds does not trigger this affect. If spoken to by SCP-3455 it is recommended to disregard its advice and to leave the area of its telepathic range, SCP-3455 has mention to D-class to do things such as: Turning off the jet engines in its chamber, opening the doors to the control room (to corrupt any scientists inside) or unlocking the doors when a containment breach is in process, turning off the jet engines for daily melting and containment breaches.
SCP-3455-2 is a sticky like corruption that spreads off of the liquid secreted by SCP-3455. this corruption spreads like vines with multiple large vines spreading out with smaller vines extending off those by the end of the day this corruption has spread to to roof of the cell and must be cleaned that night or the next day. this corruption will corrode anything that comes into contact with it as well as organic material. if touched it will start to eat away at the skin and bone until eventualy taking over the body and turning it into a human like creature with pale skin white eyes and the vine becoming larger from point of origin the person is now to classified as SCP-34455-3 and will become hostile, this will also happen when coming in contact with SCP-3455. when SCP-3455-2 is heated or unattached from its substance it will turn grey and make a hissing sound and shrivel up and die.
Maintenance is to be held every 3 hours to make sure SCP-3455 or SCP-3455-2 has not corroded the underside of cell-1 or cell-2 if being contained in cell-2.
If SCP-3455 thinks that someone is useful in someway that when it comes in contact with the person or thing it will transport it to a 'shadow dimension' not yet explored from recovered D-Class this world appears to be a forest in a valley with a black sky with a white sun with no sound heard and at random a copy of SCP-3455 will begin a conversation with the person. if enraged in this dimension the real SCP-3455 will also become the same way. Side note: SCP-3455-2 has been found covering the entirety of this dimension.
Addendum-4-1
radio equipment was attempted to be brought into the 'shadow dimension' O5 command has claimed this to be with D-Class █████ that had 'information on how to breach containment' although unfortunately only the D-Class was brought in and not the radio equipment. D-Class was found in the storage room of SCP-3455 after 20 minutes confused and scared.
Addendum-17-2
on ██/████/██SCP-3455 came in contact with D-Class-████ after a containment breach in where the jet engines automatic engage failed and never returned accept from small pieces of flesh and bone.
Addendum-29-3
Scientist ███████ was caught during a containment breach at ██/████/██ and was burned alive in the room surrounding Cell-1 SCP-3455 came in contact with the remains and SCP-3455-3 was a pile of ash and bone that would slightly move or wobble around.
Addendum-82-4
2 D-Class were caught in the airlock during a containment breach on ██/████/██ and were suffocated in the airlock as the door shut and locked contact with SCP-3455-2 was not engaged as it could not slip its way through the airtight door
Addendum-104-5
1 pound of soil with grass and 1 dandelion was brought into SCP-3455 and SCP-3455-2's cell and after 40 minutes SCP-3455-2 had completely taken over the grass and dandelion on the pound of soil. when removed the soil made a loud hiss and turned completely gray. after examination no signs life was detected on the soil.
No further testing is authorized without O5 Command
