Item #: SCP-3506 "The king's Court"

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-3506-1 and -2 should be contained in a suitable humanoid containment cell with no biological materials such as paper, wood, or cotton present. They should be guarded at all times by two armed personnel, clearance level 2 is needed to interact with these SCP. The cell should be big enough to house two humanoid entities and two beds that should be spaced a short distance apart. These beds should be made from a hard metal like steel or iron and should be filled with dull gray plastic beads. Feeding should take place twice a week, 3506-1 consumes brightly colored plastics whereas -2 consumes soft metals such as tin or silver. Containment breaches are not usually an issue unless -1 and -2 are separated. In the case of a breach they will seek each other out and become docile and cooperative once reunited. If they are unable to reunite 3506-1 will enter a panicked frenzy similar to that of a panic attack or sensory overload found in humans and remain immobile, while 3506-2 will enter a rage state and attempt to kill any life form nearby. In this case 3506 should be taken manually to 3506-2 to prevent further loss of life. After that point the two can be safely returned to their containment with little trouble.

Description: 3506-1, nicknamed "The King's Jester," appears to be a male court jester. A few key features are its small bead-like black eyes and bright red "clown nose," and it's face is a pale white although it does have traditional clown makeup. It is adorned in a jester costume that seems to grow in place of it's skin, similar to SCP-049's robes, and is made from a soft plastic material. It has blond hair and wears a jester cap with a sun and a moon were you'd typically find bells. It's height is somewhat short, only being about 5'3" and weighing about 90 pounds. It appears to have no internal organs, save for an endoskeleton made from human bones. It does not bleed, instead what exits any wounds it receives is molten plastic. Despite being filled with the hot liquid, 3506-1 does not appear to radiate heat.

3506-2, "The King's Knight," is a tall suit of armor that is capable of speech and movement despite X-rays showing that it is full of molten metal with no clear bone structure. It is made of an unknown metal that has similar properties to iron and does not resemble any known culture's armor. It carries with it a large sword made from the same material that it is comprised of, and the insignia on the sword has yet to be deciphered by linguists.

It is speculated by foundation staff that the materials 3506-1 and 3506-2 consume are, in turn, used to repair their outer layers or any liquid inside them. Both instances are highly intelligent and have very distinct personalities. 3506-1 is very social and emotional, it enjoys communicating with staff and making them laugh. This SCP has a very polite and kind nature, but can be a bit of a prankster at times. 3506-2 is very much the opposite, it is cold and antisocial, typically only conversing or paying attention to 3506-1. It can be somewhat rude to staff and in some cases aggressive or threatening, although in the presence of -1 it will not harm staff.

Anomalous Properties: Both instances of 3506 have some kind of telepathic link with each other and are able to sense the other's pain be it physical or emotional. They can also erode biological substances with sustained touches. 3506-2 seems unaffected by this, but -3 shows distress when eroding a substance.

Addendum:

Log 1- December 21st 2000 -Discovery-
These SCP were discovered in a small village in northern England after a string of deaths caught the foundation's attention. The two humanoids were discovered in a cave sitting idly by a fire while 3506-1 performed a juggling act for the other. They were taken into Foundation custody with little need for force and quickly cataloged as one SCP. The reason for this decision being that they acted together rather than as individual SCP's who happened to find each other.

Log 2- Jan 8th 2001- Initial Interview-
Subject: SCP-3506-1 and 2
Interviewer: Dr. Bell
Prerequisite: Gaging intelligence, gather basic info, etc.

Begin Log-

Dr. Bell: Hello, I am Dr. Bell, I will be interviewing you today. Can you speak?

SCP-3506-1 nods.

SCP-3506-1: Have you any idea where His Majesty is? We would like to see him again if that is alright with you.

Dr. Bell: His Majesty? Can you tell me who that may be?

SCP-3506-1: His Majesty of course! The king! Who else but His Majesty!

SCP-3506-2 nods and huffs.

SCP-3506-2: May you get us in contact with Him?

Dr. Bell: Ah I apologize, he is… busy at the moment. Is there any information you would like us to relay to him?

SCP-3506-1: Ah yes! Yes that would be wonderful, could yo-

SCP-3506-2: Do not relay any important information to this scoundrel. We must speak to the king in person, we cannot trust you with the information we have.

Dr. Bell sighs softly and turns to SCP-3506-1

Dr. Bell: May we converse in private?

SCP-3506-2: Absolutely not. You are not to separate us until we reach the king. Are we clear?

Dr. Bell: May I ask why that is?

SCP-3506-2: No you may not. Jester, we shall be making our leave now.

Dr. Bell: If you attempt to breach containment you will be met with force. If you comply you will not. Now, please answer me a few questions. Where did you come from?

SCP-3506-1: His Majesty's kingdom!

Dr. Bell: Where is that?

SCP-3506-1: That is where His Majesty lives!

Dr. Bell: … And were is that?

SCP-3506-1: His Majesty's Kingdom of course!

3506-1 seemed to giggle a little, clearly bemused by the little "prank" he was playing, 3506-2 let out a soft "Hmp" noise, akin to a snort. Dr. Bell was not as delighted as the other two.

Dr. Bell: Hm, well, I have a few more questions. What are you? Are you related? Are you planning on hurting anyone here? And lastly, do you eat? If so what do you eat.

SCP-3506-1: I am me and he is he, we are we and we are not you! We are close but not by blood, we are brothers of the soul.

SCP-3506-2: I do not intend to hurt anyone unless I must.

SCP-3506-1: I am a pacifist. I shall never hurt another on purpose.

Dr. Bell: But we discovered you after mass killings, I don't understand how a pacifist could do that.

SCP-3506-1: You simply aren't as durable as we, you lot rot away with a single touch!

3506-2 touches a piece of paper as a demonstration, it crumbles away in the SCP's grasp. Dr. Bell nods and jots some notes down in his journal

SCP-3506-2: Organic material and life withers and rots in our grasp.

SCP-3506-1: It is truly a shame…

Dr. Bell looks up, and nods at the saddened SCP

Dr. Bell: We will make sure that no one gets hurt while you are here. So please, tell me, what do you eat?

SCP-3506-2: To replenish our bodies we must consume what we are made of. I request soft metals and he needs brightly colored plastics.

Dr. Bell nods and closes his journal.

Dr. Bell: Thank you. This interview is now over.
