Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be surrounded in a 2 kilometer radius by a wall of 15 meters in height and 2 meters in depth which is to be patrolled at all times by armed personnel (Perimeter A). A barbed wire topped electrified fence of is to surround SCP-XXXX from a radius of 4 kilometers (Perimeter B). This is to act as a precautionary measure if Perimeter A is compromised. Due to the Unknown nature on contents of SCP-XXXX, Any access into SCP-XXXX below level 3 of the site must be approved by the O-5 council and overseen by a member of staff familiar with the known information of SCP-XXXX and of LEVEL 4 clearance or higher. Any unauthorised personnel passing Perimeter B are to be detained and questioned at Site 73. Any unauthorised personnel passing Perimeter A are to be Terminated. Any person seen emerging from SCP-XXXX is to be extracted by MTF-Omega 18 and placed under quarantine at Site 73 for investigation. All doors that provide access to below level 4 of the site are to be kept in lockdown at all times. At the entrance of SCP-XXXX, a deadlock door must be enforced with a depth of 1 meter, constructed out of Titanium, and plated with Chobham level 2 armour. On SCP-XXXX Level 3, Barricades must be constructed, blocking access to lower levels, and in corridors around Site 73 Forward Research Facility, along with armed defences. All members of staff situated at Site 73 Forward Research Facility must use provided digital night vision equipment at all times to counteract low light, and hopefully reduce the mental effects of viewing SCP-XXXX-A. If an anomalous entity exits SCP-XXXX,, it is to be presumed that it is SCP-XXXX-A, and procedure XXXX-TEMPEST is to be enacted Immediately. If SCP-XXXX-A breaches or passes Perimeter A, procedure XXXX-TEMPEST-X is to be enacted IMMEDIATELY
Description: SCP-XXXX is believed to be Site-[REDACTED], located in ███████, England. Site-[REDACTED] was rumoured underground facility that was created under direct jurisdiction of the O-5 council in the early years of the foundation, but a widespread misinformation campaign regarding the existence and nature of Site-[REDACTED] was instigated. The true extent of the area or depth of SCP-XXXX is unknown. But the facility is judged to reach a depth of around 30 levels with further sections and shafts running deeper, but this is not confirmed.
Levels 1-3 of SCP-XXXX are under Foundation control and are held by MTF-Omega 17 and Forward Research teams XXXX-B & XXXX-C. Site 73 Forward research facility has been set up on SCP-XXXX Level 3 along with several barricades and defences. Staff situated at Site 73 Forward Research Facility may be granted amnesiacs once per month if requested.
Often, a high pitched screeching like noise is produced from somewhere within SCP-XXXX, designated SCP-XXXX-B. This noise has been described as 'Bloodcurdling' and 'Unearthly'. The source of SCP-XXXX-B has been designated SCP-XXXX-A. On rare occurrences, human screams have been heard from inside SCP-XXXX, indicating that there may still be survivors within SCP-XXXX. Numerous heavily mutilated bodies have been discovered inside SCP-XXXX, assumed to be victims of SCP-XXXX-A. Viewing of SCP-XXXX-A will cause major mental instability and shock in the viewer. It is not fully understood yet, but methods are being tested to prevent this effect. An unknown grey substance has been found in trails around the facility and on all bodies. The properties and purpose of this substance is unknown, but believed to originate from SCP-XXXX-A.
Many of the doors inside SCP-XXXX are seen to have been forcefully opened or torn apart, some have even been separated from the frame, these include doors that are estimated to have been able to withstand a direct force from a nuclear bomb. Documents recovered from SCP-XXXX are usually burnt.
Site 73 has been set up on an exterior side of Perimeter A to act as the primary center for research and operations regarding SCP-XXXX. MTF Omega-18 is situated in Site 73 along with several armed vehicles including , but not limited to; 5 x Challenger 2 MBTs, 6 x Boeing AH-64 Apaches, 10 x FV101 Scorpions.
Mission Reports;
Mission XXXX-1: ██/██/████ 11:30 MTF Beta-3 was tasked to investigate the rumoured site and establish a foothold.
~SCP-XXXX was found with the main door deadlocked. Door was opened using a laser cutter
~SCP-XXXX Level 1 was entered by MTF Beta-3
~The site was reported to be on lockdown, or appeared so. All Lighting and electricity appeared to be offline
~Deeper into Level 1, many doors were found breached and several bodies were found.
~Upon closer inspection, bodies were said to be estimated ranging from being dead for several years, up to a few days.
~Several documents were found, many of them burnt. Of the few intact documents, many appeared to be religious texts of unknown language or origin, and several Manuals for heavy mining equipment of unknown make. A note was found near a corpse that read:' We knew there was something down here, something big. We didn't know what it could do, what it would do, but one thing is clear, we dug too deep for our own good. They said the lockdown was necessary, they knew they would die too. I agree.'
~MTF Beta-3 was reported hearing the scream of SCP-XXXX-A.
~MTF Beta-3-1 ordered a immediate retreat.
~The Scream of SCP-XXXX-A was heard again.
~Communications went offline.
~Outside of SCP-XXXX, MTF Beta-3-12, MTF Beta-3-13, MTF Beta-3-7, MTF Beta-3-10 & MTF Beta-3-2 were missing, assumed KIA.
After Mission XXXX-1, MTF Beta-3-6, MTF Beta-3-5, MTF Beta-3-8 & MTF Beta-3-11. All appeared majorly unresponsive and in an extreme state of shock, they were all reported to have seen SCP-XXXX-A. In the next 2 weeks, all of the listed members of MTF-Beta-3 had committed suicide. Surviving members of MTF-Beta all appeared heavily disturbed by and mentally effected by hearing the scream of SCP-XXXX-A. All accepted amnesiacs when offered.
MTF-Beta-3 was considered compromised and disbanded.
Mission XXXX-1 was considered a failure.
██/██/████ 13:27 An unmanned vehicle (UV) with a 5km transmitting range is sent into SCP-XXXX to try and explore more of the facility.
~The UV entered the facility.
~Reports and footage of the layout and content of SCP-XXXX seemed consistent with the UV footage.
~Two heavily mutilated bodies were found and identified as MTF Beta-3-7 & MTF Beta-3-12.
~Upon exploring further into SCP-XXXX Level 1, the scream of SCP-XXXX-A was heard

The team that controlled the UV were [DATA EXPUNGED] and described [DATA EXPUNGED], showing that indirect viewing of SCP-XXXX-A reduces the mental effects of SCP-XXXX-A to an extent.
Mission XXXX-2 was considered a failure.
██/██/████ 20:46 MTF Pi-4 Had been tasked with exploring SCP-XXXX Level 2 and barricading the level as quickly as possible. MTF Pi-4 had been equipped with non-digital night vision equipment
~MTF Pi-4 is seen entering SCP-XXXX
~Approximately 20 minutes later, SCP-XXXX-A was heard, along with several gunshots
~The screams of SCP-XXXX-A were repeated and sounded fiercer, Along with more gunshots.
~The sound of SCP-XXXX-A, along with gunshots, appeared closer to the surface, Accompanied by human screaming, presumably from members of MTF Pi-4.
~Personnel around the area of SCP-XXXX withdrew, assuming MTF Pi-4 as KIA.
The following morning, foundation personnel returned to the woods that surround SCP-XXXX. Bodies of all but 7 members of MTF Pi-4, all heavily mutilated. The missing seven are presumed dead inside of SCP-XXXX. As SCP-XXXX-A had shown the ability to leave SCP-XXXX, Perimeter A & Perimeter B were erected around SCP-XXXX.
NOTE: Due to the fate of MTF Pi-4, Mission XXXX-3 has been reported by personnel overseeing the mission from distance.
Mission XXXX-3 was considered a failure.
MTF Omega-17 & MTF Omega-18 were tasked with taking control of and fortifying & barricading it SCP-XXXX Level 2. MTF Omega-17 & MTF Omega-18 we’re additionally equipped with digital night vision equipment, and several ████████ energy weapons.
Mission Summary: MTF Omega-17 & MTF Omega-18 searched, fortified & barricaded SCP-XXXX Successful without any sign of SCP-XXXX-A. Due to the success of this, they were ordered to control SCP-XXXX Level 3. In the same manner as with Level 2, Level 3 was taken successfully. It is unknown why SCP-XXXX-A was not present, but it is assumed that Mission XXXX-4 was a ‘lucky attempt’
Documents and Text Recovered: Most documents recovered in Mission XXXX-4 Were Either; Unknown Religious texts, of the type seen before previously in SCP-XXXX, Unidentified mining equipment manuals, many regular/non-anonymous books of many genres, supposedly belonging to staff, and several basic guides and manuals from the SCP Foundation (this helps reinforce the assumption that SCP-XXXX was one a facility of the Foundation). Several notes and more useful documents were found during Mission XXXX-4; note found in the pocket of a corpse:’what is it, what have we done, the world is done. I guess things are supposed to be kept a secret.’, note found scratched into the remains of a door:’if the screams call, don’t answer, that was the mistake we made’, found painted on the walls of a corridor:’RUN’, diary found on a coffee table in what appeared to be a break room:[REDACTED], note found lying in a bathroom:’The door was locked, why didn’t we ask why?’, note smeared with blood found on a notice board:’I did it, know I know[REDACTED]’.
Mission XXXX-4 was considered a success.
