Special Containment Procedures: Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept within a 5m x 5m humanoid containment room with two wooden chairs inside, bolted to the floor facing one another. Once daily prior to 1700 hours, a D-Class subject is to be placed in SCP-XXXX’s cell in order to maintain compliance. No individual, aside from D-Class personnel, are permitted to make direct physical, visual, or auditory contact with SCP-XXXX, and visual and auditory contact with the cell’s interior is to be maintained via camera and microphone. All staff who regularly interact with SCP-XXXX and any individuals who are accidentally exposed to SCP-XXXX are to undergo a psychological evaluation, and any potential breaches are to either be placed in containment with SCP-XXXX or be immediately terminated.

No change to SCP-XXXX’s containment procedure is permitted without permission from at least two level 4 personnel or higher.

Description: Description: SCP-XXXX is a humanoid figure possessing level-3 telepathic abilities and significant shape shifting capabilities. SCP-XXXX’s physical abilities include being able to destroy a 6 inch layer of reinforced plexiglass, an 18 inch steel door, and 14 inches of reinforced concrete. Upon seeing, hearing, or touching SCP-XXXX an individual becomes slaved to its will. SCP-XXXX can entrance up to 7 individuals at a time, its ability becoming less potent the later in the order an individual is. This trance state is induced in order to maintain a living pool of individuals for propagation.

For the purpose of explaining SCP-XXXX’s psychic ability, the effects it produces have been labeled on a scale from 1 to 7.

  • Level 1: Level one individuals are those who SCP-XXXX intends to consume next, referred to as SCP-XXXX-1. These individuals are completely inactive, only staring into SCP-XXXX’s eyes. If someone attempts to remove a Level 1 individual from SCP-XXXX’s line of sight, both SCP-XXXX and SCP-XXXX-1 will react violently until eye contact is restored.
  • Level 2: Level 2 individuals, labeled SCP-XXXX-2, are individuals entranced after SCP-XXXX-1 individuals, and upon the transformation of SCP-XXXX-1, these individuals go from Level 2 entrancement to Level 1. SCP-XXXX-2 is incapable of higher functions, unable to communicate, but can still move. SCP-XXXX-2 desires close contact to SCP-XXXX, becoming agitated with even limited separation. Separation longer than 1 hour prompts SCP-XXXX-2 to begin pulling out hair, tearing away skin, and pulling out nails, apparently unaware of any pain, or incapable of feeling it.
  • Level 3: Level 3 individuals, labeled SCP-XXXX-3, are those entranced after SCP-XXXX-2 individuals, this pattern will continue for the remaining 4 levels. These individuals are capable of speech, but not of higher thought. Most incidents of SCP-XXXX-3 roll on the ground, muttering incoherent statements while picking at the end of finger nails and the skin on their palms. Removal of SCP-XXXX-3 from the immediate area of SCP-XXXX prompts an increase in muttering and nervous movements. As time goes on, self-harming behavior becomes more severe.
  • Level 4: Level 4 individuals, labeled SCP-XXXX-4, are capable of conversation, but cannot focus on anything that is not directly related to SCP-XXXX. They prefer to have visual contact with SCP-XXXX, either directly or through a video connection. Removal from visual contact prompts individuals to begin muttering the statement, “The world is ugly, lonely, empty,” repeatedly until contact is restored.
  • Level 5: Level 5 individuals, labeled SCP-XXXX-5, are mobile and typically wander aimlessly whenever direct contact with SCP-XXXX is impossible. If they have access to SCP-XXXX they will put forth every effort short of direct physical confrontation to restore this contact. This can lead to major site breaches (See Addendum XXXX-F.)
  • Level 6: Level 6 individuals, labeled SCP-XXXX-6, are mobile and perform most of their usual activities, but will unconsciously deviate from their standard duties to come into contact with SCP-XXXX. When asked about this, they often offer excuses, but sometimes refer to a feeling that they lost something near SCP-XXXX’s containment room.
  • Level 7: Level 7 Individuals, labeled SCP-XXXX-7, are usually completely functional, although often show signs of severe apathy and depression. When asked why they feel this way, they often mention that they seem to have lost something of significant emotional value.

SCP-XXXX is incapable of propagation if affected individuals are terminated or held within specialized containment cells. While most physical restraints do nothing to hinder SCP-XXXX’s impressive physical strength, it appears that flames, boiling liquids, and strong corrosive materials can contain SCP-XXXX. These actions are prohibited by Site Director (SEE ADDENDUM E.)**

Once the bond has been established, SCP-XXXX-1 will remain with SCP-XXXX to aid in propagation. Propagation begins with SCP-XXXX shapeshifting into the appearance of SCP-XXXX-1. This process appears extremely painful, though whether SCP-XXXX can feel pain is still unknown. Once SCP-XXXX has taken the form of SCP-XXXX-1, SCP-XXXX-1 will attack and consume SCP-XXXX in its entirety. SCP-XXXX does not resist. From this point on SCP-XXXX-1 should be considered SCP-XXXX.
