Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5000 is to be kept in a locked box below the storage area of Site ██, specifically under a single floor tile of titanium alloy. These tiles are to be checked by D-Class personnel wearing a hazmat suit, on a weekly basis. There is to be a pipe on either side of the pack to funnel harmful material. After each month, a D-Class is to eat one rice cake from the pack.
Description: SCP-5000 is a sentient, self-replenishing pack of rice cakes. These rice cakes secrete a harmful gas similar to █████████████. Every time someone ingests a rice cake, they begin to asphyxiate. SCP-5000 seems to enjoy being ingested, and will become increasingly irritated as no one ingests it for a prolonged period of time. When irritation reaches its peak, it will begin to shake rapidly, managing to cause noticeable damage to most surfaces. SCP-5000 is incapable of speech, but seems to prefer using mostly incomprehensible body language.
Discovery: SCP-5000 was discovered shaking rapidly in a lunchbox in an abandoned factory in ██████. The factory was filled with █████████████ at the time, so MTF were equipped with military-grade hazmat suits.

Room completely decontaminated, rice cakes scrubbed and heavily decontaminated. Subject ingests rice cake, asphyxiating still. SCP-5000 pleased.
Results: SCP-5000, when decontaminated, senses the change and counters with increased production of gas.
