Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: Due to SCP-###’s safe classification, scp-### should be stored in a 50x50x50cm glass box away from agent ██████ (see addendum), unless otherwise authorised for testing by level 2 research personnel.
Description: Whilst inactive, SCP-### takes the form of a gold coloured, approximately walnut sized sphere of unknown composition. The sphere also has several engravings, markings and runes of currently unknown meaning or origin.
When SCP-### activates, two gold coloured appendages resembling feathered wings unfurl from around SCP-###, giving it the ability to fly. SCP-### strongly resembles a [DATA EXPUNGED] from [DATA EXPUNGED]. SCP-### has only been known to activate after being touched by the flesh of agent ██████. All other attempts at activating SCP-### have resulted in failure.
SCP-### was discovered by agent ██████ on 10/01/01 in Bodmin Moor, Cornwall, United Kingdom when agent ██████ came across the object during their search for [DATA EXPUNGED], when it flew into their head and subsequently rebounded and landed in their hand. Due to the high speeds of SCP-###'s travel the agent was rendered unconscious for approximately one and one half hours.
Addendum: Due to agent ██████ touching SCP-### during research, SCP-### activated and proceeded to hover in front of agent ██████ for approximately two minutes before escaping through the test room door when D-class opened it to bring tea and crumpets to researches. SCP-### proceeded to fly around the facility, evading capture from 60 on site personnel for over three hours.
