Special Containment Procedures:
SCP-4986 is to be kept in a locked box in a room guarded by one security personnel at one time and can only be used or taken from containment if approved by a level 3 personnel.
SCP-4986’s box is fully padded with noise canceling acoustic foam which should be checked every month for any signs of damage.
Note: SCP-4986 cannot escape on its own, it needs a host.
Description:
SCP-4986 is a pair of Beats Solo3 Wireless(TM) headphones that are solid black all around apart from a silver branding marks on the left and right sides. SCP-4986 has some sort of port on the bottom of the right side of the object which appears to be used for charging although this port is not of any type of port that exists to the manufacturer's knowledge (See addendum for an interview with the manufacturers)
Note: It is currently unknown how much charge SCP-4986 currently has and a full dissect of SCP-4986 is currently pending authorization from a level 3 personnel.
SCP-4986 is capable of creating any sound and mimicking any sound it hears but only when someone is using and wearing SCP-4986. SCP-4986 can create any sound from 10Hz to 20,000Hz.
SCP-4986’s Behaviour:
SCP-4986 will not try to escape as it needs a host to be able to move. SCP-4986 will usually let of sounds that can variate between 10Hz and 20,000Hz.

SCP-4986-1:

SCP-4986 was removed from containment and D-Class Personnel D-7854 put on SCP-4986. Shortly after SCP-4986 was placed on the D-Class Personnel’s head, a very high pitched noise began to emit from the object which permanently deafened D-7854. SCP-4986 was placed back into containment afterward and the test was aborted at █ █:█ █.
