Special Containment Procedures: SCP-xxxx should be kept inside a humanoid containment chamber. Video surveillance on SCP-xxxx should be erased immediately after review by a D-class every four hours. D-class should then be monitored for symptoms of SCP-xxxx-B for two hours. If symptoms appear D-class personnel in contact of video surveillance should be terminated immediately and response protocol designated RINSE should be activated. After RINSE all permissions are to be reviewed and revoked for three weeks by the on-site administrator. Sprinklers located in the containment area should receive maintenance every 24 hours. SCP-xxxx is not to be granted any permissions that include books, writing material, or liquid that could be used for writing.
Description: SCP-xxxx is a humanoid entity resembling the possibly deceased author H.P. Lovecraft. Further research into if SCP-xxxx is H.P. Lovecraft is currently permitted. SCP-xxxx is docile and has shown no aggressive behavior towards site personnel. It is often friendly and cordial to personnel and has built a relationship with [REDACTED] which it has referred to as a friendship. [REDACTED] is allowed regular weekly visits with SCP-xxxx.
SCP-xxxx-A is a Euclid cognitohazard contained within SCP-xxxx. It is referred to by SCP-xxxx as The Truth and sometimes The Answer. If SCP-xxxx wishes to share "The Truth" with visiting personnel they should be immediately removed and go under a monitored two hour quarantine, see Log-3. SCP-xxxx is can be written in an unknown language and has the same effect as when spoken. After hearing or seeing SCP-xxxx-A an instance of SCP-xxxx-B will manifest within the affected individual.
SCP-xxxx-B is a large Keter class organism that varies in form. It normally has multiple tentacles, eyes, and mouths that grow all around the affected individual. Last instance of SCP-xxxx-B was 428 days ago. SCP-xxxx-B grows in stages, an individual will show symptoms of stage one up to two hours after being exposed to SCP-xxxx-A.
Stage-01: The individual will express extreme distress and will begin hurting themselves in attempts of suicide. The individual will become crazed, showing signs of euphoria and normally laugh and smile, they may also begin attacking any individual around them and will try to spread SCP-xxxx-A which can lead to a chain reaction.
Stage-02: Individual will begin to calm down showing signs of recovery before secreting an organic liquid through their pours. This liquid will harden forming a "cocoon" around the individual. This "cocoon" will pulsate as the individual inside will rapidly transform into SCP-xxxx-B.
Stage-03: The "cocoon" will burst open and SCP-xxxx-B will begin attacking anything other than another instance of SCP-xxxx-B.
Request to conduct further research on SCP-xxxx-B: Denied

SCP-xxxx: "What is your name?"
MTF-01: (No response)
SCP-xxxx: "Who are you, where am I going?"
MTF-01: "We are the SCP Foundation, you are being transported to a containment facility."
SCP-xxxx: "Would you like to know what you are? Would you like to know the truth?"
MTF-01: (No response)
SCP-xxxx: "[REDACTED]"
(Audible screaming)

Interview with SCP-xxxx conducted by a D-class designated log-2:
D-Class: "What is your name?"
SCP-xxxx: "Howard Philips Lovecraft."
D-Class: "You are aware Howard Philips Lovecraft died on March 15th 1937?"
SCP-xxxx "But I am right here."
D-Class: "Why did you kill those two people?"
SCP-xxxx: "I have never killed anyone."
D-Class: "What killed the first retrieval team sent to you?"
Scp-xxxx "A shoggoth, it haunts me and my every move. I did not want anyone to get hurt."

Experiment 01. transcript designated log-3:
D-Class enters room with instruction to ask about "The Truth":
D-Class: "What is The Truth?"
SCP-xxxx "[REDACTED]"
D-Class begins foaming in the mouth and convulsing. D-Class begins laughing as they scratch their arms. Skin begins to fall and the subject begins bleeding from their arms.
SCP-xxxx: (Visible distress)
SCP-xxxx: "Help, It's happening again! Why won't you help him?"
SCP-xxxx Is then removed from the testing room as to not interfere more with the experiment.
After one hour of monitoring D-Class goes limb and vitals cease.
Secretion of an unknown liquid begins coating the D-Class' corpse.
20 minutes pass:
Coating breaks off revealing an instance of SCP-xxxx-B. MTF squad is sent in to kill SCP-xxxx-B.
