Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a 5 m x 5 m x 5 m steel box, only accessible through a standard containment door. Staff with Level 2 clearance or higher is allowed access and have to wear a radiation suit at all times when in a radius of twenty (20) meters of SCP-XXXX. During the event of a containment breach, SCP-XXXX is to be locked in order to prevent creations of SCP-XXXX-2 instances.
SCP-XXXX-2 instances are not allowed to leave SCP-XXXX's cell and are to be terminated immediatly.
Background: SCP-XXXX was manufactured in an "Ikea" factroy in Vienna, Austria. The entity was sold for the first time to Karl [CENSORED]. After sleeping in the bed for several days, Karl [CENSORED] sought out several psychiatrist telling them about having several nightmares and waking up with strange wounds every day. Several days later Karl [CENSORED] was found dead in his house.
SCP-XXXX was given to Susanne [CENSORED]. Susanne [CENSORED] was found dead the day after she received the bed. SCP-XXXX was retrieved by a SCP team on CENSORED/CENSORED/CENSORED.
Description: SCP-XXXX's appearance is a 180 cm x 200 cm double bed. The material of the slatted frame is oak wood. The mattress Subjects within 1.5 to 2 meters of SCP-XXXX, or in visual contact with it, experience a strong urge to sleep on it. When lying down, individuals fall asleep immediatly. Inteviewed Subjects stated that when lying down on the specimen, they experience a nightmare. The content of each nightmare are varying on each individuals personality. Subjects show various wounds after waking up, in some cases the tested person ceases to life. It has been noted that the damage inflicted in the nightmare transitions over to the real world. How this operates is yet unknown.
After eight (8) hours of lying on SCP-XXXX, test subjects wake up. If an subjects dies before waking up, causes vary from bleeding out, a broken neck, etc., an SCP-XXXX-2 instance is being created. SCP-XXXX-2 instances appears to be in a black humanoid form, independent on the lifes previous form, measuring 1.13 meters in height. Instances of SCP-XXXX are highly aggressive, attacking all life forms and it has been noted that SCP-XXXX-2 instances possess high-strenght, speed and reflexes.
If a life form does not get harmed during the whole interaction with SCP-XXXX, the subject emittes radioactive radiation in a radius of fifteen (15) meters measuring up to twenty (20) gray.
