Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be lit with a standard lighter once every 24 hours to prevent it from growing in size.. Any instances of colored smokes emitting from SCP-XXXX are to be recorded by whoever sees it first. SCP-XXXX is not to be inhaled in any way. SCP-XXXX stays in a standard containment cell at Site-19 with the lights turned out.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a Red Candle that is 1 ft in height and 2 inches in width. SCP-XXXX, after lit with a lighter or any type of flame, emits a colored gas that, once inhaled, gives them a series of physical or mental effects. These can include:
- Excitement
- Intense pain to a random organ
- Temporary Clinical Depression
- Permanent Clinical Depression
- [REDACTED]
- Growing of extra limbs
- Removal of limbs (does not work with limbs grown from SCP-XXXX)
- Total Amnesia
- Nothing
Anybody who attempts to inhale gasses emitting from SCP-XXXX are immediately shot with a tranquilizer from a disguised camera in the cell and removed from it's cell once the gasses fade away. This can take anywhere from 1 minute to 6 hours.
There is no known way to prevent gasses from coming out of SCP-XXXX, or any known ways to stop the effects of it. SCP-500 has no effect on SCP-XXXX's symptoms. (note: am I allowed to say that, or do I need permission from someone to mention a different scp not created by me?) Those who are affected by SCP-XXXX are to be interviewed and punished in some way for ignoring the warning outside of the cell.
