SCP-XXXX
Object Class - Keter
Special Containment Procedures
As of currently, all civilian calls to the Foundation Social Services number (951-572-2602) are to be recorded and added to Document XXXX-102. Operators are tasked with tracking the caller and notifying available recovery teams, who are to be dispatched immediately to the location of the call to recover notices and conduct a thorough investigation to check for anomalies. Notices are to be returned to Site 28 for analysis and containment.
Civilians are to be provided Cover Story XXXX (“A neighbourhood prank”) if necessary.
SCP-XXXX-1 through to SCP-XXXXX-57 are contained within a standard safe class containment locker in the Eastern Wing of Site 28. Access to SCP-XXXX-1 through to SCP-XXXX-57 is limited to personnel holding Level 3 security clearance.
Update: If irregular electromagnetic activity occurs within Site 28, SCP-XXXX’s storage locker is to be inspected immediately and the contents transferred to a safer location. Under no circumstances are any electromagnetic stimulated anomalies to be contained in Site 28’s Eastern Wing.
Description
SCP-XXXX-1 through to SCP-XXXX-57 are a collection of notices claiming to be official Foundation documents. Records have shown that no such documentation has ever officially been produced, published or distributed by the Foundation.
The Foundation first came to be aware of SCP-XXXX’s presence in 1971 when Jude Wallace, living on a private property in New Mexico, contacted Foundation Services concerning a notice she found taped to her front door. A recovery unit was dispatched immediately and retrieved the notice (now classified as SCP-XXXX-1) without incident. The investigation conducted on the property resulted in no abnormalities or anomalies being detected.
Since then, instances of SCP-XXXX has appeared spontaneously in seemingly random locations all across the globe. Notable examples include on Whitefriars Catholic College grounds (Australia), the inside of a Walmart staff room (North America), the attic of the Frankston residence (Italy), the entrance to the Venado Caves (Central America) and on the tombstone of Robert Frank Kindleson (Japan).
To date, a total of 57 notices have been collected, each following a strict format and containing the following information:
- Warnings of an anomaly being present in the near vicinity
- Claims that reliable containment procedures could not be put in place for various reasons
- Instructions on how to avoid contact with said anomaly
- The Foundation’s Social Services number and how to access support
- An estimate of when said anomaly will be relocated/declared safe
- An O5 council member signing off the notice
All SCP-XXXX instances were found taped to a vertical, flat surface and in pristine condition, displaying no reaction to water/weather damage. Apart from this, all SCP-XXXX instances possess no anomalous properties. Analysis of all instances could find no trace of human contact.
Footage of any kind is also unable to capture SCP-XXXX manifestations. Instead, the footage is replaced with a series of repeating symbols. As to what they represent or translate to is currently unclear as they do not match any known languages or dialect on Earth.
The O5 council claim to have no knowledge of the notice’s existence and consider their presence a breach of Foundation secrecy.
“Already we’ve had a couple of civilians discover these notices and attempt to reveal the Foundation to the public. They have been dealt with but that doesn’t excuse the problem. These false notices are directing a lot of unwanted attention to us and finding out how to prevent the appearances of these notices is a top priority.”

On 21/2/2014, Agent Redacted announced that he had uncovered a file which related to SCP-XXXX. Redacted claimed to be browsing through the Foundation archives on another assignment when he discovered a project file named “Guardian Angel”. The file contained the proposal for the creation of a team of specific individuals (there are no records of these individual’s existence) whose purpose was to notify the public of non relocatable, hazardous anomalies. The project was proposed in 1994 by Dr Johnathon Slevinski however was rejected due to Foundation secrecy policies. Dr Slevinski unexplainably retired shortly after the rejection and hadn’t been seen since.
A team was dispatched to Slevinski’s property on the 24/2/2014 to question the doctor in regards to Project Guardian Angel and its possible connection to SCP-XXXX. Upon arrival, Slevinski was officially declared deceased, his corpse discovered at the scene. A handwritten letter was found lodged in Slevinski’s throat reading “We’ll do it ourselves.”
The estimated time of death was approximately 34 - 35 years ago (1984 - 1985). Dr Slevinski proposed the project in person in 1994 with relevant surveillance footage as evidence.

On [REDACTED], waves of electromagnetic pulses abruptly began emitting from within Site 28’s Eastern Wing and the source of the anomaly was narrowed down to SCP-XXXX’s storage locker. Staff opened the locker to find SCP-XXXX-1 through to SCP-XXXX-57’s molecular structure had completely transformed. The notices were now sheets fully constructed of an unknown material similar in composition to rare earth neodymium magnets. An untranslatable symbol was engraved on each sheet which flashed neo-green light at 12 second intervals.
All notices were transferred to a secure testing chamber where it was determined that the waves emitting from the sheets were signals concentrated towards the direction of Jupitar’s then current location. The signals could not be encrypted. approximately 3 hours later, before proper examination would be performed, the notices returned to their original state and all anomalous activity ceased.
Later that day, Site 28 security reported that an unidentified individual had been seen tampering with SCP-XXXX’s storage locker. Upon reviewing surveillance footage, a figure dressed in full standard uniform inspecting SCP-XXXX’s storage locker, rocking the locker back and forth and attempting to access interior. After attempting to access the locker for roughly four minutes, the figure then turns towards the camera and it gets a clear look at their face. Dr [REDACTED], present in reviewing the footage at the time, identified the figure as none other than Dr Jonothan Slevinski. Slevinski then nods to the camera, before proceeding to exit the facility. Perimeter surveillance footage captured Slevinski wandering into a bush before a series of symbols concealed the footage. The only remaining trace of Dr Slevinski was a standard Foundation researcher’s uniform found in the bush.
Dr Slevinski has not been sighted since.
