Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4565 is to be kept in a 5x5x5 meter humanoid containment cell, kept completely airtight at all times. All personnel entering SCP-4565’s cell must wear sterilized full-body suits. The walls of SCP-4565’s containment cell are to be made of .3 meter solid metal, steel is currently under use by Site-06. SCP-4565’s cell must be monitored by CCTV for at least one (1) hour per day. SCP-4565 must be cleaned once per week, and the cell sterilized once per month.
Description: SCP-4565 is a tall, slender, humanoid object, approximately 277cm tall when active, and 153cm tall when dormant. It has dry, brown, flaky skin, large protruding eyes, and a small mouth. SCP-4565 spends most of its time curled into a ball-like shape in the northwestern corner of its containment cell, in this state the entity will attract small land-dwelling arthropods, which, once they contact SCP-4565, will not leave its surface. The creatures afflicted (now SCP-4565-B) do not seem to require nourishment, and will nest and raise their young on SCP-4565; Additionally, instances will not show aggression towards other instances of 4565-B, and will cohabitate peacefully. Instances of SCP-4565-B will rapidly starve and expire once removed from SCP-4565. Occasionally, SCP-4565 will stand and begin to walk, moving at approximately 2cm/s, SCP-4565 has been seen staring at the CCTV camera in its cell, walking in a perfect circle, and consuming instances of SCP-4565-B in this state.
