Special Containment Procedures: Currently all attempts to contain SCP-XXXX-J have failed. All personnel assigned to SCP-XXXX-J are to watch for symptoms of SCP-XXXX-J. Any personnel acting in a manor that suggests exposure to SCP-XXXX-J must be reported to Dr. Lesner and security personnel immediately. All personnel exposed to SCP-XXXX-J will undertake mandatory puppy kicking 101 reagrification training. Any personnel who has undertaken training. More than 3 times in a 36 hour period will be replaced and placed on other assignments.
Description: SCP-XXXX-J is the designation for the entirety of the state of Minnesota. All those infected with SCP-XXXX-J appear to experience fits of unexplained kind behaviors. These behaviors vary from subject to subject however it has been observed they all follow a particular pattern. Personnel have observed these behaviors. On a scale ranging from common courtesies all the way to starting non profit charity organizations. At this time it is unknown if Minnesota has the perfect habitat for SCP-XXXX-J to thrive or if it is in fact to nice too leave.
Those infected with SCP-XXXX-J will hereby be referred to as SCP-XXXX-J-1. SCP-XXXX-J -1
All instances of SCP-XXXX-J-1 appear to participate in the Minnesota goodbye. A phenomenon of its own, it appears to be a self contained gravitational force. Which allows conversation to continue as participants move closer to the door. The door as observed by research personnel appears to mainly be personal dwellings of SCP-XXXX-J-1 and restaurants. However it has been observed to happen outside in parks etc. in some rare cases it may even take place over the phone. At no point does anyone seem to be bothered by this force and it appears to be perfectly natural to all instances of SCP-XXXX-J-1. The only time the conversation appears to stop seems to be when one participant in the conversation exits the structure. Afterwards once that instance returns home it will then call the other participant in the conversation to let them know they made it back safe.
Addendum: Isolated cases of SCP-XXXX-J appear in other states as well as other countries. These case are considered irrelevant at the attempt to contain SCP-XXXX-J
