SCP-6000

The entrance to SCP-6000

Item #: SCP-6000
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: The security perimeter of the property containing SCP-6000 is to be monitored by armed guards and night-vision security cameras at all time in order to prevent unauthorized access to the mine. Individuals who breach the perimeter are to be administered class B amnestic procedure and turned over to the local authorities.

Any further exploratory missions are prohibited by the command of the O5s.

Description: SCP-6000 is an abandoned mine located in [DATA REDACTED], Yukon, Canada. SCP-6000 was originally discovered in ████ by a working field agent name “████ Smith”. The mine is said to be abandoned for approximately ██ years, and thanks to its remote location and unstable weathers, making the area mostly undisturbed and forgotten. The interior of the mine contains a 5-levels geological researching facility:
• Level 1: Entrance section
• Level 2: Medical/Cafeteria section
• Level 3: Research and Power Plant section
• Level 4: Decontamination chambers and Subterranean water system’s entrance
• Level 5: Subterranean water system

When in its active state, SCP-6000 is able to detect any intruders within it. Upon locating the intruders, SCP-6000 will then proceed to release SCP-6000-1. SCP-6000-1 are humanoid entities that stand around 1.8 metres in height, having slightly deteriorated skin and extended arms weaponized with sharp claws. These entities shown to be possessed superhuman agility, strength and can be extremely perceptive even in the dark. How or where SCP-6000-1 were originated from is still unknown, one thing we know for sure is that these entities can be extremely hostile against the intruders.

Upon manifesting, SCP-6000-1 will then act as SCP-6000’s defense mechanism, tracking down all the intruders and try disable them as soon as possible. When encountered an intruder, they will then try to [DATA EXPUNGED]
the victim to death. SCP-6000-1 will then proceed to drag the victim’s body to Level 5 of the facility, making it [DATA EXPUNGED] until no trace is left behind.

So far, there has been no record of anomalous activity outside SCP-6000 during the period of operation. A guard station has been constructed over the entrance for the mine to make sure that no one else comes near it.

Audio log from Interview Sergeant McMann :

Interviewer: Dr. █████
Interviewed: Sergeant McMann, former member of exploration team Omega-5 "Orange Tree"
Retrieval Incident #6000-1-A

<Begin Log [████████ ████████ Time, Research Area ██]>

Dr. ███: Could you please describe the mission?

Serg. McMann: We were assigned to investigate an abandoned mine located in [DATA REDACTED]; there was a hidden geological researching facility within the mine, and so we decided to explore it. Turned out the whole thing was going to be a fucking slaughterhouse.

Dr. ███: How many levels were there in the facility?

Serg. McMann: 5.

Dr. ███: Could you please describe each of the levels?

Serg. McMann: The first level is just an entrance zone; the second level is a cafeteria and medical section; the third level is a researching site and power plant section; the fourth level is where decontamination chambers and subterranean water system entrance located. And level 5; a subterranean water system.

Dr. ███: So 5 levels…please continue.

Serg. McMann: We enter the facility, turn on the backup power generators; Graham tried to access to the computer in where we believed is to be or was this place's director office. ████ and Kruger then noticed there's a massive subterranean water system located at the very bottom of the facility. They dived into it; try getting some samples of rocks. [Pause] Until something attacked ████.

Dr. ███: Do you know what attacked ████?

Serg. McMann: No, but it got him real good, 2nd and 3rd degree burns all over his body. He then got transported to the medical room. After we done giving him some first aids; we gathered up in the bathroom nearby to share the infos. [Interviewed now pause for a few seconds] But the decision to leave him alone there was stupid; when Graham goes check on him; those "things" already got to him first.

Dr. ███: Those "things"?

Serg. McMann: [Interviewed now pauses]

Dr. ███: Sergeant McMann?

Serg. McMann: [Seem to regain conscious] Sorry….[Pauses and inhale sound] I just…just can't get it out of my mind.

Dr. ███: It’s ok; please continue.

Serg. McMann: There were like hundr- no maybe even thousands of them in that place. [Pauses] That's all I know since it was too dark in there anyway.

Dr. ███: Do you know how did they appear in the first place?

Serg. McMann: I’m not sure [Pauses] But I’m guessing it was the power generator that make the mine goes active and spawn those fuckers….

Dr. ███: Could you please describe what happened next?

Serg. McMann: Kruger and I decided to stay back; turn off the generators before those things got outside of the mine. After finish the job, we then tried to make our way out; but a bastard got to Kruger… [Pauses] …it happened too damn fast… [Pauses again] ..the next thing I know is that I finally got out of that shit hole.

Dr. ███: This is when Beta-7 arrived?

Serg. McMann: Yes.

Dr. ███: All right, I think we are done here. Thank you for your cooperation and again, sorry for your lost, Sergeant.

[Chairs are heard moving, and footsteps leave the room. Sergeant McMann is confirmed to have left Interview Room 19.]
