Description: SCP-5172 is a small rubber hand, similar to one that you would get as a prize from a carnival, the only exception being a small, round bump on the "cord" section. when attaching the hand to a surface, the adhesive proves remarkably strong until a living being makes contact with the "fingers", at which point, it detaches from what ever surface it is adhered to. the product has a small "Dr. Wondertainment" logo printed on the hand section. testing of the material used to create this object has shown no difference to ordinary latex, this is in line with other Wondertainment brand anomalies. The item also seems to cast no visible shadow.
Addendum: Dr. Bright should, under no circumstances, be allowed to use the hand for entertainment purposes. except that one time he used it to slap Dr. Clef hard enough to leave a sizable red mark on his left cheek, and yes it was hilarious.
Test Log 1: this test involved 2 D-Class personnel, who were instructed to attach the hand to the wall of the chamber, and have one hold the other end and back up to the other wall, at which point the second subject would touch the fingers, causing the hand to detach from the wall and shoot toward the first D-Class with considerable force exceeding 120 meters per second.
