Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Safe/Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: Due to the nature of SCP-XXXX-1, special containment procedures are not required, and SCP-XXXX-1 is allowed to come and go as he pleases, however supervision of SCP-XXXX-1 by one (1) or more on-site Class D personnel is required whenever SCP-XXXX-1 is within any SCP owned property. SCP-XXXX-1 is to be referred to as Dr. Isaac Nomad, Dr. I. Nomad, Dr. Nomad, or Nomad by all personnel, unless instructed otherwise.

Instances of SCP-XXXX-2 are to be assigned two (2) Class D personnel, and are to be closely monitored within their chambers and provided with food and water, as well as a regular dose of SCP-XXXX-3 unless instructed otherwise by O5 personnel. Instances of SCP-XXXX-2 are not to leave their containment rooms without the company of the 2 assigned Class D personnel. Instances of SCP-XXXX-2 are not to come into direct contact with SCP-XXXX-1 without being given three (3) times the regular dose of SCP-XXXX-3 prior to exposure SCP-XXXX-1, and must be removed from proximity of SCP-XXXX-1 within thirty (30) minutes between the initial three (3)x dosage. Instances of SCP-XXXX-2 must not be given any more than four (4) doses of SCP-XXXX-3 within an hour. The on-duty Class D personnel are to submit a report of all observations of SCP-XXXX-2 to authorized personnel upon being relieved of duty.

Failure to remove SCP-XXXX-2 instances from SCP-XXXX-1 within the defined time frame will result in the termination of the on-duty Class D personnel. Failure to regularly dose instances of SCP-XXXX-2 with SCP-XXXX-3 will result in the termination of the the on-duty Class D personnel.

Description: SCP-XXXX-1, also known as Dr. Isaac Nomad, or simply Dr. Nomad, takes the form of a human male, appearing to be around 45 years of age, possessing dark brown hair, thick facial hair in the form of a beard, yellow-green eyes, and a fair complexion with medium build and height.
SCP-XXXX-1 is capable of appearing anywhere from 25-75 years of age, however all previous descriptions still apply. Facial appearance can only appear as younger or older versions of the same face. Attempts to shave any of SCP-XXXX-1's hair will result in it growing back to the way it was prior within twenty-four (24) hours.

SCP-XXXX-1 possesses anomalous behavior allowing SCP-XXXX-1 to "teleport" to any location which SCP-XXXX-1 is familiar with. SCP-XXXX-1 is capable of taking any item SCP-XXXX-1 desires along with this teleportation so long as SCP-XXXX-1 is in direct contact with the item, or if the item is within a container which SCP-XXXX-1 is in physical contact with. Experiments to recreate this effect have yet to provide adequate results (see Addendum 1).

SCP-XXXX-1 has been observed to be able to change it's age to younger and older versions of itself. By conducting detailed observations of the state of SCP-XXXX-1's genetic make up between his various "ages", it has been determined that SCP-XXXX-1 is confined between the ages of twenty-two (22) and seventy-seven (77), and is incapable of aging beyond seventy-seven (77) by natural or artificial means. SCP-XXXX-1 possesses an uncanny regenerative ability, able to recover at approximately twenty (20) times the rate of a normal human. Tests measuring the healing time between SCP-XXXX-1 and 100 healthy Class D personnel has revealed that this healing factor is 5.271603 times faster than the average of the Class D personnel. Experiments attempting to recreate exploit this heightened healing factor in other suspects has yielded minor success (see Addendum 2). In tandem with these experiments are the creations of SCP-XXXX-2 and SCP-XXXX-3.

Instances SCP-XXXX-2 take the appearance of normal humans of varying types. Due to the nature of SCP-XXXX-2 instances, it is vital that they be constantly monitored and observed by at least two (2) Class D personnel, as stated in containment procedures. While SCP-XXXX-2 may be easy to contain, much is still unknown about SCP-XXXX-2 instances. One common anomalous behavior shared by all SCP-XXXX-2 instances is a heightened rate of healing, approximately fifteen (15) times that of a normal human. Different instances of SCP-XXXX-2 are shown to manifest secondary anomalous behavior, varying between individual specimens. Such anomalies are usually related to the original's abilities of teleportation in one way or another (see addendum 3), however, as is evidenced by SCP-XXXX-2y (see addendum 4), these anomalies can vary. As such, SCP-XXXX-2 as a whole are to be classed as Euclid.

SCP-XXXX-3 is a substance created by isolating parts of the genetic makeup of SCP-XXXX-1 to create a protein shown to promote control of the anomalies present within SCP-XXXX-1. Use of SCP-XXXX-3 as a supplement for instances of SCP-XXXX-2 has been shown to neutralize otherwise lethal anomalous effects. Studies conducted to determine the relation between this protein and the anomalous properties presented by both SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-2 instances are so far inconclusive (see addendum 3).

Addendum 1: SCP-XXXX-1 has shown to possess a chemical makeup similar yet different to that of a normal human. Most notably, SCP-XXXX-1 contains several proteins that cannot be found in the average human. Tests attempting to isolate the genetic sequences that produce these proteins have so far yielded no results. However, one procedure has been discovered to produce one of the proteins found in SCP-XXXX-1 that are not found in other living creatures. See attached Test A. No anomalous effects have so far been observed with this protein. Due to recent discoveries in the anomalous nature of this protein when produced under these conditions, it is to be dubbed SCP-XXXX-3 and produced in every site that contains an instance of SCP-XXXX-2.

Addendum 2: SCP-XXXX-1's regenerative abilities has been deemed beneficial to medical research and test have begun to try and exploit this regenerative ability. Attempts to isolate the regenerative ability for medical use has so far yielded unsatisfactory results, and resulted in the production of SCP-XXXX-2, which exhibits the desired increased healing rate, but exhibits lethal side effects 3 hours after the creation of SCP-XXXX-2, most predominate of which are cardiac arrest, which cannot be treated by any known means. This cardiac arrest can be treated by use of SCP-XXXX-3 when administered orally. See attached Test B and Test C.

Addendum 3: Studies on SCP-XXXX-2 after treatment of cardiac arrest via use of SCP-XXXX-3 has shown the development of additional anomalous behaviors. SCP-XXXX-2a has shown to be able to teleport short distances (approx. 10 feet) that are within his view. Other instances of SPC-XXXX-2 hold the same ability to varying degrees of accuracy and to varying distances, with a few exceptions. SCP-XXXX-2g holds the same teleportation ability, but is unable to control the location he teleports to, and can teleport only within 15 feet of his initial location. See attached Test C.

Addendum 4: Upon creation of SCP-XXXX-2y, all instances of SCP-XXXX-2 have been re-classed to Euclid. SCP-XXXX-2y possesses no teleportation abilities, but instead possesses a different type of anomaly, in that SCP-XXXX-2y is capable of turning its form and all items worn or in possession of SCP-XXXX-2y pitch black. Attempts to measure the amount of light radiation reflected by SCP-XXXX-2y while in this black state has shown no radiation, be it thermal, nuclear or photogenic is capable of being emitted or reflected while in this state. Class D personnel who engage in physical interaction with SCP-XXXX-2y while in this state report the sensation of interaction being "as though nothing were there." (See attached Interview 2-1) Tests were done to determine if this state is of a separate chemical composition from SCP-XXXX-2y's normal state. Results have shown that the chemical structure is different, however, tests to determine what the substance is have been inconclusive. See attached Test D.

However, cultivation of these proteins by dissolving the required nutrient blends into the blood of SCP-XXXX-1 then pumping the enriched blood through a culture of bacteria created by genetic modification of the clostridium botulinum bacterial strain. This bacteria in particular was chosen due to the similarities of the proteins produced between SCP-XXXX-1 and the bacteria, however the differences between them is what separates the proteins found in SCP-XXXX-1 from the toxins found in clostridium botulinum.

(draft 1 ended due to overwhelming ideas on how to refine, as well as the desire to drop many features; the original idea was created while tired and tried to be too much; second version may try to be too little, but it's certainly a breath of fresh air in comparison to this draft, in my eyes)
