Special Containment Procedures
There are no special containment procedures for SCP-2588 due to it being able to at random teleport to a different location at any point in time, there is nothing that could be done about this.
Description
SCP-2588 is a rusty metal metal pole with some sort of substance leaking out of it, it is unknown if the substance is harmful as for no one has come in contact with it. Further research is highly unlikely to happen due to SCP-2588 randomly being able to teleport to a random location at any point in time. Since SCP-2588 can teleport at any given moment there is expected to be a high amount of casualties and a possible containment breach ever so often. If SCP 2588 is is squished or grabbed it will teleport away making it harder to contain.

"Alright, is everyone ready?" The room is silent "Ok then, we may begin" A loud buzzing can be heard signalling the fact that the magnets have been turned on…Suddenly the room falls silent "Whats going on?" "Magnets have shut down sir" "What why!?" "We are not quite sure" A loud thud is heard and the lights shut off, the containment breach alarm is sounded and emergency powers has been turned on "Fuck, alright everyone get to the breach shelter." All members part taking in test to contain SCP-2588 have been evacuated.

Dr.Ivan Enters the interview room
Dr. Ivan: "Good day Doctor"
Dr.█████: "Good day to you too"
Dr.Ivan: "So umm Dr, you wanted to speak with me about containment of SCP-2588?"
Dr.█████: "Yes I did. You see after yesterdays incident we believe we found out why site ran out of power."
Dr.Ivan: "And what do I have to do in any of this?"
Dr.█████: "So you say have been running these tests for almost 1 month already is that correct?"
Dr.Ivan: "Yes that is correct."
Dr.█████: "And you have used how many magnets now?"
Dr.Ivan: "Yesterday was ten magnets."
Dr.█████: "Well you see. The magnets they consume energy."
Dr.Ivan: "Of corse, I know that."
Dr.█████: "Well yesterday the amount of energy the magnets where using exceeded the amount they where allowed to, and that caused the power to run out."
Dr.Ivan: "I see… and you're point is?"
Dr.█████: "We are denying you access to any more testing on this SCP"
Dr.Ivan: "Yes, I understand"
