Lara awoke to the blinding light of her cell and the footsteps of the guards outside. She sighed and stood from the stiff mattress, she had been at the foundation for 7 days but it was only now setting in that she would be going through the experiments for a whole month, if she survived them. The doctors didn't even care enough to use her name, instead opting for 'D-5693'. Before she could fully wake up the door to her cell opened and the guard started yelling, "Move it 5693, you're scheduled for testing with SCP-682.". The guards were horrible, their voices were calm and indifferent, as though they didn't care about the hell the class D were put through. Lara followed their orders, knowing that if she didn't she would be killed on the spot. They walked for 23 minutes before finally reaching the containment cell of SCP-682. On the way in Lara caught a glimpse of a document one of the doctors was holding. She didn't see much other than the picture, which looked like some kind of lizard, and one word that sent chills down her spine. 'Keter'

Before entering the containment chamber the guards gave lara a pair of 3-D glasses they called 'SCP-178'. once inside the chamber she saw it, the lizard was in the corner, seeming to be heavily sedated. The speakers turned on and a voice spoke, "please approach SCP-682 and place SCP-178 on its head.". Lara complied and walked towards the creature before placing the glasses on its face. The thing looked awful, it had too many eyes and it's flesh looked rotten with bone exposed in some places. The voice spoke again, "Please exit the containment chamber.". Lara looked the lizard over one more time before turning away. Before she could go one step she heard a noise behind her. She turned back and the lizard was stumbling to its feet before jumping back, looking surprised. "What the hell is that thing!?" The creature yelled through its torn voice before rushing towards the opposite corner of the chamber. It slammed into the wall and started screaming as its body was covered with deep lacerations. Lara was screaming, trying to stay as far away from the creature as possible. Despite her best efforts the creatures flailing tail hit her inthe chest knocking her too the ground. The glasses fell off of the lizards face as it began healing incredibly fast. The thing stood and walked towards Lara before tearing into her legs, ripping her to shreds, the last thing she heard before dying waa the voice on the speaker "End the test."
