Special Containment Procedures: There is currently no way to contain instances of SCP-XXXX appearing among the international populace. MTF Delta-6 "Watchdogs" have been given the task of monitoring any and all social media platforms for mention of SCP-XXXX. Any posts or online communities found to be centered around SCP-XXXX are to be dismantled and all involved persons amnetiscized. Further research into the real-life counterpart of SCP-XXXX's mall is currently ongoing but has thus far yielded no results.
Description: SCP-XXXX is the designation given to a global phenomena that began shortly after the 2000 New Years. Once in the REM stage of their sleeping period, the affected individual will experience an extremely vivid and detailed dream centered around an unnamed mall. Located somewhere on the sidewalk outside the mall or in its parking lot, all subjects reported first noticing the abnormally large amount of people flooding into the mall's front doors and subsequently the complete lack of any individuals leaving. Before the subject has time to further explore or examine the mall, they will be accosted by a random passerby of no discernible relation. This passerby will immediately inform the dreamer of the manner, time, and place of their future death before resuming their walk into the mall. The dreamer will awaken shortly after, usually through shock.
