Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Safe

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a locked container made out of metal tungsten. Said container is to be kept in a 2 meter by 2 meter airtight room, lined with metal tungsten, as well. At no time should any liquid of any kind be allowed inside SCP-XXXX's containment area, unless directed to by foundation personnel for testing. If transportation of SCP-XXXX proves necessary, all personnel involved in the transportation process must be wearing liquid repellent gloves, as well as any form of full-body covering suits/clothing. SCP-XXXX must be kept in the aforementioned locked container at all times, unless SCP-XXXX is being removed for testing, or transportation.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a tea-cup, alongside a saucer, designated SCP-XXXX-1. The outside surface of SCP-XXXX, and all surface area of SCP-XXXX-1 consists of a pattern of pink and white flowers of an unknown species.

SCP-XXXX was discovered in March of 20██ by Tony ███████, while searching with a metal detector in the area of the University of ████████. SCP-XXXX was found alongside a 14 karat gold ring, which exhibits no different behavior from that of a standard wedding ring.

When any liquid or solid is placed inside SCP-XXXX, (including bodily fluid such as urine, saliva, blood, etc.) or onto SCP-XXXX-1, it's temperature grows to exactly 3,400 °C, but no damage to either occurs. As of 201█, nearly none of the tested substances placed inside of SCP-XXXX, or SCP-XXXX-1 have shown to keep a stable temperature. The only substances that managed to keep a constant temperature within SCP-XXXX, and SCP-XXXX-1 is green tea, as well as camellia sinensis leaves. SCP-XXXX can be placed onto SCP-XXXX-1 with no risk of a temperature change. No personnel are to consume any substance from neither SCP-XXXX, nor SCP-XXXX-1, unless they are D-Class Personnel that have been instructed for testing. Though the substance SCP-XXXX, and SCP-XXXX-1 consist of has been identified as porcelain and paint, all attempts to damage SCP-XXXX, or SCP-XXXX-1 have proven unsuccessful. As of 201█, 4█ damage tests have taken place, all unsuccessful.
