SCP-4271 - The Lost Battlefield

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4271 is to be observed at all times by on-site security at Provisional Containment Site-26. Security personnel are required to view SCP-4271 at all times. At least 1 meter thick walls should be in place surrounding SCP-4271, and 2 watch towers should be in place for extended observation. Any action of any of the entities inside of SCP-4271 should be reported to Level-4 personnel. Mobile Task Force Nu-5 "Frozen Solid" are to be stationed at the facility taking the role of security personnel. Any dangerous action taken by any entity inside SCP-4271 is to be countered by Mobile Task Force Nu-5 and reported to Level-5 personnel. SCP-4271-7 is to be kept inside a 4x4x3 steel container at ALL times. If SCP-4271-7 makes any movement it is to be reported to Level-5 personnel, and Mobile Task Force Nu-5 should be set on alert.

Description: SCP-4271 appears to be multiple entities frozen in a firefight, with weapons dating back to 1944. It appears there are 4 entities with American weaponry and gear, and about 5 with German weaponry and gear. Multiple bullets can be seen coming out of the weapons between 9:00 A.M and 10:26 A:M. These bullets seemingly fly to nowhere and always miss the other side. At about 12:00 P.M each day 2 soldiers will seemingly move position, these changes of position range from a 2 meter difference to a 11 meter difference. Any and all interaction with any of the entities inside SCP-4271 require permission from a Level-5 researcher. All body scans of the entities inside SCP-4271 result as inconclusive. SCP-4271-7 however is one of the entities recovered from SCP-4271. The entity appears to be a German soldier. SCP-4271-7 is observed to make movements at random, most movements appear to be hostile. All body scans of SCP-4271-7 are inconclusive.

Discovery: SCP-4271 was discovered May 20th, 1983 by a group of civilians that were camping in the area. A foundation field team was sent out to explore and examine the SCP. The civilians were de-briefed, administered amnestics and released. The field team confirmed the anomalous traits of SCP-4271 and Provisional Containment Site-26 was built.
