SCP-XXXX, Photo taken by a victim, days before death.
Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures:
SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a greenhouse-like cell. The cell should be approximately 6 meters in width and depth. The height should be roughly 10 meters tall and should have large sun lamps to allow for plant life. The cell should be populated with plants and trees native to the SCP's area, including paper birch (Betula papyrifera). Any viewing ports must be covered in some form of window tint or must be some form of "one-way mirror". There must be an inspection twice a week of all windows to make sure there is no cracking or chipping of the tint. Soil should be tested once a month to be sure that the PH is sufficient for the plants. All personel interacting with the SCP must wear tinted visors or glasses of some kind, even if they are outside of the cell. The SCP does not need to be sedated for testing or cleaning of its containment cell.
Description:
SCP-XXXX is a large deer-like entity that is approximately 1.7 meters in height to the top of its antlers. The SCP has the appearance of that of a low-polyganol 3D model, with sharp edges and no rounded features. The SCP also features a set of oddly life-like grey wolf (Canis Lupus) teeth. The SCP is a "french grey" with white, glowing eyes. The exact species of deer the SCP is closest related to is unknown but it can be assumed to be a White-Tailed Deer (Odocoileus virginianus), due to the region it was found in.
In the earliest records, the SCP seems to have had a different appearance. It is unknown whether it was a separate instance of SCP-XXXX or if it is the same entity. The alternate form of the SCP is nearly identical except for instead of being "solid" it looked much more like a wireframe model; black lines connecting points and completely hollow.
When not engaged, the SCP acts like a normal member of its species. While it was still in the wild it was treated by other deer as a normal herd member, as if it was observed as "normal" by them. It is unknown if the SCP has an effect on it's fellow herd members.
The SCP has been observed eating the foliage of it's cell but it has been proven that it has no need to do so. The SCP lacks biological organs and processes that would normally sustain life.
SCP-XXXX was captured by the Foundation the small town of ███████, Manitoba, Canada in 19██. The origin date of the SCP is not known but reports of its effects go back as far as [DATA EXPUNGED].
If a subject were to make direct eye contact with the SCP it would remain completely stiff until eye contact is broken. After this, the SCP will begin its dangerous behavior patterns; these are labeled Pattern A, Pattern B, and Pattern C.
Pattern A behavior begins shortly after first breaking the line of sight with the SCP. The SCP will immediately disappear from the viewer's line of sight. The SCP will then proceed to stalk the viewer. Every time the victim turns their head toward the SCP, they will disappear to not be seen, but will always reappear out of view. This behavior continues anywhere from 120 to 168 hours after the first viewing. During this time, the victim will begin to feel paranoid and begin to develop tremors, insomnia and self-destructive behaviors.
Pattern B behaviors begin anywhere from 0-24 hours after the end of Pattern A. Pattern B behavior begins with the SCP manifesting in view of the victim. The victim will not have the ability to look away. If the line of sight is broken, by any means other than blinking, the SCP will repeat Pattern B behavior. If the line of sight is not broken within 10 minutes, the SCP will begin Pattern C behavior. During this time, test subjects reported feeling extreme paranoia, nausea, spotted vision, increased heart rate and trouble breathing normally.
Pattern C behavior begins immediately after a successful Pattern B. The SCP will begin to chase down their victim. The SCP will continue to hunt down the victim until they inevitably stop running. The SCP has not been known to stop Pattern C behavior until it's victim has died. There are no records of SCP-XXXX survivors.
These behaviors will start, no matter how brief the encounter with SCP-XXXX. However, there is a simple preventative measure. It appears that if a test subject wears eyewear with some form of photochromatic tinting to it they will not engage Pattern A behavior. This has also been proven true with tinted windows.

Item #: SCP-4XXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4XXX is to be contained in a container or room must be at least 3m in every dimension. This SCP is to be cared for as a normal cat would be cared for, although the organism will not eat cat food of any form. Due to this, the SCP must be fed at least once a week. The room should be cleaned biweekly, especially after an incident like that of Test [████-A]. Staff members are permitted to enter the chamber, but SCP-4XXX must be under some form of sedation to ensure the safety of the staff members.
Description: SCP-4XXX has the appearance of a large domestic house cat, Felis catus, and appears to be sexless. The SCP most closely resembles that of a Norwegian Forest Cat; The organism grows a long, black top coat of fur that does not shed as a normal cat's would. The SCP does not have the normal face structure of a cat. The organism has a flat face, similar to that of a Persian cat; The only feature on the organism's face is a metallic grey zipper, The zipper runs horizontally across the middle of the SCP's face. The SCP was first seen in [REDACTED], Finland in 2006. It was assumed to be a rumor and was forgotten. In late 2007, the SCP was spotted again, this time in [REDACTED], Finland, only 16km from it's original sited location. Soon after, the foundation had recieved the SCP from an anonymous person. The SCP now lives in Site ██.
The SCP is seemingly friendly, allowing staff to be in it's room for hours without it minding. The staff have been able to use cat toys with the SCP, only to find that it behaves like that of a normal cat. The SCP has been noted to make the sound of a normal cat, although the sounds are muffled through the zipper. Sounds include purring and meowing, especially so when it hasn't eaten. It is known that the SCP can unzip and re-zip itself; but the SCP does not unzip itself around humans, even when hungry, for unknown reasons. The exact length and origin on the tentacles is unknown, but the farthest away prey that the SCP has been observed grabbing is 2m.
In Test [████-A], the SCP was tested in order to observe what the zipper could do. Subject [████], after being placed in the containment chamber, was instructed to unzip the SCP's zipper. Once it was opened, a large, black tentacle had seemingly shot out of the opening and grabbed the subject's hand. They were quickly overcome with more tentacles and were swallowed whole by the SCP, who closed the zipper himself once the subject was inside. The subject obviously struggled but was either sedated or dead within a few minutes. The SCP quickly became encumbered and could not move, and was this way for around a week. Observing the SCP during the days after it has returned to normal revealed that it will regurgitate the bones of the victim, similar to that of an owl removing the "owl pellets" from it's body.
Dr. Jones A. Taylor, takes before Incident-[DATA EXPUNGED] at Area-14
Dr. Jones Taylor's Personal Record
Name: Jones A. Taylor
Security Clearance Level: Level 4 Level 3
Occupation: Keter Class Object Researcher Euclid Class Object Researcher
History: Dr. Taylor was hired after his excellent performance was displayed while interning during his studies at The University of ██████. He majored in Psychoanalysis and later returned to major in Veterinary Practices. After graduating in 19██, Dr. Taylor was accepted as a staff member at Area-14.
Dr. Taylor was a former Keter Class Object Researcher at the site until Incident-[DATA EXPUNGED]. After his disfigurement from SCP-███, he was relocated to Site 66. The decision to keep Dr. Taylor as a staff member after the incident was approved by the O5 Council due to his affinity for animal SCPs and his previous work with the Foundation.
Dr. Taylor is now known for caring for Euclid entities, especially those linked to animals. He is most frequently seen with his romantic partner, Dr. ██████, who is also a Euclid Researcher at Site 66.
Staff members are not allowed to mention his work at his former site or the SCP, as to avoid triggering a potential PTSD induced breakdown. Attempts to use Class-█ amnestics have appeared to fail at completely removing the event from memory.
Dr. Taylor has also claimed SCP-███ as his "pet"; frequently allowing the SCP to accompany him around Site-66 and even allowing it in his office. Dr. Taylor seems to be the only person that the SCP has affinity with and has not been attempted to be eaten by it.
