Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXX is currently located in Research Sector-01 at site [REDACTED]. SCP-XXX is to be monitored at all times by no less than 3 Staff with level 2 clearance or higher. Despite SCP-XXX's ongoing dormancy, no foundation personnel are allowed to enter SCP-XXX without the direct authorization and supervision of no less than 2 Staff with level 4 clearance or higher.
Should SCP-XXX become active, all foundation personnel are to be removed from the immediate vicinity of SCP-XXX, and any changes to facility layout should be documented. This includes but is not limited to:
- Rooms appearing where there were none
- Rooms changing appearance or apparent use
- Rooms disappearing without trace
Once SCP-XXX's new location is discovered, the standard containment procedures are to be re-instated, and any missing persons are to be deemed KIA. Under no conditions is a recovery to be attempted; even during a state of dormancy.
Description: SCP-XXX has no discernible appearance, as the appearance is subject to change in any activity cycle. Measurements are in accordance to standard site construction, and typically indiscernible from any other room in the facility. This appears to be a predatory tactic, used to capture unsuspecting staff as a food source. SCP-XXX's methods of consumption and locomotion are as of yet unknown.
SCP-XXX was originally discovered after Doctor - disappeared along with 3 Class D personnel and 2 armed guards, who were to be studying SCP-[REDACTED] that morning. 3 hours later, a partially digested skeleton belonging to D-[REDACTED] was discovered. After an additional 4 hours, the remains of Doctor - were recovered, though they were heavily digested.
