Failed SCP 5120
Object Class:Euclid
SCP 5120, Also known as "Lady Of The Bells" Is to be contained In a 2 by 2 meter steel cell, encased In a 30 by 30 cm fiberglass cube. Outside of the Steel cell should be at least a 50 meter Diameter spacing such as not to expose any SCP foundation member to the effects of SCP-5120. There is a entrance to the chamber only accessible to foundation members with level 3 security clearance. This is only to be used for an entrance for D-class personnel.
SCP 5120 is a small chunk of quartz which origins are unknown. SCP 5120 was first located in █████,████████ in the household of the ██████ family after the disappearance of ███████ and ██████, and attempted suicide of ██████.
If SCP-5120 is within a 50 meter radius of a mother of a child, it will seek out that person classified as a suitable host of SCP-5120. This individual is now referred to as SCP 5120-B. If the mother was married to a husband, SCP 5120 will seek out the husband as its first prey. If there is no husband, SCP 5120 will select the eldest child within the household. Both either husband or child will become known as SCP 5120-C.
Within the first 48 hours of exposure, SCP 5120-C will experience the sensation of church bells ringing.1 Directly after, SCP 5120-C will then hear a high pitched wailing noise of unknown origin, followed by a temporary loss of hearing. Then, SCP 5120-A will appear directly behind, or to the side of SCP-5120-C. SCP 5120-A will then incapacitate SCP 5120-C and consume them.
SCP 5120-A seems to be a distorted recreation of SCP 5120-B, while retaining the same body type. The Face of SCP 5120-A seems to be elongated with no lower jaw or nose, the top teeth will be long and sharp resembling icicles. Where the neck would be is a enlarged and distorted recreation of the inside of the mouth, including the back of the throat and the palatine uvula. The collarbone of SCP 5120-A is replaced with a enlarged lower jaw consisting of teeth similar to the upper jaw, only they are much longer and there are more of them. SCP 5120-A's skin seems to be devoid of any pigment.2
If SCP 5120 is not within proximity of a family it will start to decompose into a grainy substance almost like sand. After 35 minutes the sand remnants of SCP 5120 will start to move on its own, The sand will travel aimlessly until it finds a suitable host. These sand remnants can not travel through solid objects.
Addendum-13: Test subject B is Incapable to see SCP 5120-A when test subject C is being consumed, only after all appropriate prey is consumed will test Subject B no longer be a suitable host. Then SCP 5120-A will appear in front of them and seemingly try to speak to test subject B, but before the sentence is completed SCP 5120-A will dematerialize into sand and join back with SCP 5120's sand form and attempt to leave. SCP 5120-A's sand form can travel through solid objects only to join back with SCP 5120's sand form.
Addendum-2: Test subject B has been consumed and SCP 5120-A has tried to communicate with test subject C. The sand form of SCP 5120 attempted to leave the fiberglass case. The sand form of SCP 5120 does not seem to have any sense of direction or that it is completely encased. SCP 5120 will stay like this until a suitable host enters its proximity.
Addendum-3: Test subject B was exposed to SCP 5120, Test Subject C was located in █████,█████
at the time of exposure. Within 48 hour the same effects of SCP 5120 occurred, SCP 5120-A does not seem to need to travel to locate and get to test subject C.
Addendum-4: SCP 5120 was transported to site ██ for testing. SCP 5120 travels in sand form approximately 23 kilometers an hour, that speed can sometimes vary. It is unclear what changes its speed or direction.
