Forewarning:
This document is Classified under Level 4 Clearance and this document assumes the fact that the viewer has been cleared under the review of the 3 or more O5 council members through the required psychological re-evaluation.
Special Containment procedures:
SCP-#### is to be contained in a 4 metre by 4 metre sealed in a locked ballistic glass case. A pedestal is raised from the test chamber floor by 3 metres. The test Chamber itself is to be created from standard reinforced Concrete and soundproofing material of 5 centimetres or more. Monitored and controlled from a control room around 20 metres away from the test Chamber, any and all changes to containment are to utilize remotely controlled units unless otherwise authorized by O5 to send in sentient entities. No more than 3 Researchers cleared by the O5 Council, no more than 3 D-class test subjects and a team of no more than 3 armed personnel drawn from nearby foundation sites, all to be re-evaluated for perception shift resistance and mental fortitude. The Containment facility designated Area [DATA EXPUNGED] must be under constant surveillance by nearby Foundation sites and patrol units for unusual behaviour surrounding Area [DATA EXPUNGED] and any suspicious activity or movement originating from inside or outside the facility. Such foundation staff specified for the task stated must be briefed and cleared by their respected Site Directors. Any Instance of SCP-####-1 are to be terminated at range and no personnel are to enter a radius of 10 metres around SCP-####. Possible instances of SCP-####-1 or affected test subjects are to be contained and allowed remote observation and study but Researchers are to caution any contact and report all changes and events. Possible range weapons are forbidden in testing for SCP-####

Description:
SCP-#### is an SCP that resembles a drinking glass resembling an octagonal mass produced drinking glass found in many civilian homes. The glass measures exactly 14.5 centimetres in height, 9.5 centimetres in outer diameter, 9.3 centimetres in inner diameter, Tapers sharply at 9 centimetres from the base into a smooth finish and is constant in thickness through out.
SCP-#### seems to be made of an anomalous material resembling glass but testing of the material has proven difficult (see incident report-###-1A regarding physical tests). The material it is made of displays unusual properties such as the inability of light to pass through but yet individuals have the ability to see through the glass as if it was transparent although results and effects of test subjects have moved its classification from Euclid to Keter (see incident report-####-1B and ####-1C)
SCP-#### is theorized to be sentient given all testing has led to it having a suspected motive but requires further testing to prove. SCP-#### can create instances of SCP-####-1 through exposure from its psychological effects in a radius of about 8 metres where from testing seem to depend on unknown factors. SCP-#### can only affect sentient multi-organism entities and if 'fully' influenced by SCP-#### through unknown factors will result into an instance of SCP-####-001.
The 'Methods' SCP-#### uses to create SCP-####-001 include but not limited:
- Empathy for SCP-#### as if it was a person
- Sympathy if harmed but no single definition of harm will trigger SCP-#### indefinitely
- Thirst
- Cult-like belief in SCP-####
After SCP-#### has influenced and presumably taken over the victim, the affected will attempt to fill the glass with any liquid and will resort to almost any liquid if no water is found. One case of ####-01 used its own saliva to fill the glass and partook of the liquid. An instance of SCP-####-1 that has finished such a process will act extremely protective of the SCP-#### and proclaim it to show 'The truth'. Instances of SCP-#### will act according to an approaching subjects behaviour, offering liquid in #### if seeming to be harmless or willing, protective and violent if subject acts in justification to that. Instances of SCP-####-1 act disciplined as if ordered by SCP-#### but tests cannot prove this.
Incident Report ####-R-O:
The Foundation was alerted of an anomalous incident on ██ / ██ / █████ after Field agent ██████████ under deep cover at a Secretive Canadian facility designated ███████-██ by staff employed at the facility as the facility had been suspected of retaining certain anomalous objects from the Foundation, reported of a facility wide breach.
Field agent ██████████ reported that 2/3's of the facility had either been "turned" or eliminated by the "turned" which will be named SCP-####-1. The Operation was under the purview and direct supervision of O5 members and as such an executive order to invade facility ███████-██ using MTF-███ designated and prepared for situations pertaining to the operation if such an incident were to occur.
MTF-███ were ordered to recover Field agent ██████████ and terminate any and all individuals unless stated otherwise by O5-██ or other supervising O5 members. Detachment of MTF-███ were to recover all data and records of the facility and recover all anomalous objects.
The operation lasting 21hours 3minutes and 7seconds ended after all entities terminated and data recovered. The operation left Field agent ██████████ and 7 remaining survivors of MTF-███. No remarkable events reported other than MTF personnel expressing a sense of discomfort towards instances of SCP-####-1 which were reported to have no remarkable traits other than hostility. Recovery Team reported casually at intervals of nothing out of the ordinary after recovery of SCP-####.
Data Recovered is classified under authority of O5-13.
SCP-#### was confirmed to be the only anomalous object in the possession of facility ███████-██ and was brought to site 9-██- ██ located nearby. During the arrival of the Recovery team in a heavily armoured foundation vehicle at Gate-D of site 9-██-██ the vehicle braked abruptly and began to reverse, on-site guards were ordered stop the vehicle but to little effect. The Vehicle containing the recovery team did not respond to orders and was beginning to escape the perimeter of site 9-██-██. On-site guards were ordered to pursue the vehicle containing SCP-#### with foundation agents in a nearby settlement alerted and ordered to attempt locate and pursue any MTF vehicle in the surrounding areas they were stationed.
The vehicle containing SCP-#### stopped 5 kilometres from the site in a nearby forest where firefights began between members of MTF-███ and site 9-██- ██ guards.
Foundation Guards suffered 12 casualties and all members of MTF-███ along with agent ██████████ were terminated. O5-██ ordered for SCP-#### to be recovered by foundation robotics by unmanned recovery unit known as Unit R-34 to deliver to Area [DATA EXPUNGED] under specialized containment for suspected area affecting, Viral and special distorting SCP's.
Canadian facility ███████-██ was collaboratively under agreements between the Canadian officials and the O5 Council (see document Facility ███████-██-I-O).
Full Autopsy of terminated former foundation members assumed to have been turned into SCP-####-1 showed no biological anomalies

Test information: Material Testing, visually SCP-#### appears to be made of glass but appears to create a high pitched ring when dropped as observed by remote audio surveillance equipment once deposited by Unit R-34 in containment Chamber. Test aims to find out if SCP-#### is made of unusual materials or anomalous materials. Test Chamber has not been changed and SCP-#### remains on a 3 metre pedestal. Light Tools are present on a movable tray brought by Remote robotics units.
Test Begin
D-Class is kept in a sealed room 15 metres to SCP-####'s test Chamber, door is unlocked and D-Class is told to walk to the end of the corridor and wait further instructions. D-Class Complies and reaches a heavy door leading to a sterilizing chamber. Chamber opens and D-Class is told to enter, D-Class complies while remarking that this must be an important entity accompanied by expletives. Note that the D-Class has been briefed on SCP-####'s appearance and nothing more. D-Class is sterilized and enters SCP-####'s containment. D-class is told to stop within 5 metres of where SCP-#### is placed and is asked to report on any changes in perception and changes in the environment and is to remain at his current position. D-Class reports no changes after 1 minute of exposure and is asked to approach SCP-#### and the tray of tools. D-class is asked to take a scalpel denoted tool #1 on the tray. D-Class expresses confusion and inquiries Researchers on the Reason, question is ignored and D-class asked to comply. Researchers instruct D-Class to take petri-dish and scrape off material from SCP-#### and is told to strictly refrain from touching SCP-#### or suffer Termination. D-Class begins his attempt to scrape material off SCP-#### sarcastically in an attempt to mock his perceived hilarity of the situation. D-class is unsuccessful after multiple attempts. Test is halted but is quickly resumed after concerns from Doctor ██████████ expresses concern over consequences of over-exposure and lack of D-class personnel given to Area [DATA EXPUNGED]. No change in environment reported from remote observation tools or D-class, test resumes. D-class is told to set down tool #1 and pick up tool #2, tool #2 is a Micro-air Grinder of grit 600, D-Class is told to repeat the procedure using tool #2, results identical to tool #1. D-class is told to swap tool #2 for tool #3 and repeat the same procedure. D-class complies but is observed to be physically hesitant. Doctor ████████████ asks D-Class if any changes to his perception or environment have occurred, D-Class unresponsive but continues to slowly begin the procedure. Doctor ████████████ repeats request and threatens termination if not compliant. D-Class still unresponsive but begins procedure. Doctor ████████████ starts to violently threaten D-class until D-Class responds. (The following is a written log from the conversation between D-class and Researchers and was recorded at the intuition of the conversations importance by Doctor ██████ ).

Doctor ████████████: "D-3334-J you are aware that non-compliance will lead to termination"
D-3334-J looks directly at surveillance camera and is observed to have broken in tears
D-3334-J: "Can I get s…something to drink? w…water m-might not be too bad, maybe this glass of water…"
Doctor ████████████: "D-3334-J you will risk Termination if you touch the glass!"
D-Class immediately complies and is told to leave. D-3334-J is contained, placed under heavy surveillance and questioned remotely.
Test End
Results:
SCP-#### appears to be resilient to attempts of light scratching, grinding and heat elements, further questions of D-3334-J shows that SCP-#### suffered no visible signs of damage. This Concludes that SCP-#### is not made of traditional materials but of anomalous unknown property. The theory of SCP-#### being made of a crystalline material has been thrown out of the picture, SCP-#### is much lighter than that of glass of similar size and dimension. But the situation at the end of the testing gives us a possible direct connection to instances of SCP-####-1. Further questioning and observation needed on D-3334-J.
