Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a spherical room of at least 6.5 metres in diameter, lined with neodymium magnets. The sphere is to be suspended, with any surface at least 2 feet from any solid matter. Any cameras installed in this room are to be flat, and embedded into the wall itself.
Anybody nearby this sphere showing erratic or unnatural behaviour is to be sent to Dr. █████. He will then scan the subject for objects or clots in their bloodstream, and depending on the outcome, terminate them.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a globule of an unknown substance weighing [REDACTED], and can change its size in a range of 0.27 metres in diameter to [REDACTED]. It is black in pigmentation, and has dark red streams running through it. Both substances have been tested, and have been declared unknown elements. It moves via pulling itself across the ground with tendrils, which extend from its 'body', and it will search for any life forms within a range of 4 metres. Its method of sensing lifeforms is still unknown, and testing is near impossible in most cases. Once it gets within range of another entity, it will allow particles to separate from the main body. These particles will proceed to manoeuvre between the atomic bonds of the entity into the bloodstream. The molecules will meet in a small clot/ blockage, causing mild discomfort in that area of the skin. It will then travel up to the brain, and administer a coating of mild neurotoxin over the brain, paralysing the subject. After administering the poison, it will 'corrupt' the brain tissue, allowing the original mass to take control through specifically engineered radio waves. The subject will show erratic or unusual behavior, in most cases trying to convince others to [DATA EXPUNGED].The substance is able to phase trough any wall, as long as it is at a near-perpendicular angle. The radio waves can be slowed to a near 0mph when trying to move between neodymium molecules.
Interviewed: Lieutenant. ██████
Interviewer: Dr. ████
Foreword: A survivor of mission 2-B to safely transport SCP-XXXX from the Bio Facility to the > Containment Facility
<Begin Log, [47:31]>
Dr. ████: You say it showed signs of sentience and intelligence?
Lieutenant. ██████: I mean, if that's what you call picking locks and opening doors, yes.
Dr. ████: We will have to test it later.
Lieutenant. ██████: No no no. That thing took out our entire squad, and didn't touch a
single one of 'em.Dr. ████: Yes, it will do that if it gets the chance. Well, I got what we needed, and now it's
time for your scan. Just a safety procedure.Lieutenant. ██████: Wait, what? No! Wait! Get of-

Closing Statement: SCP-XXXX was found to possess intelligence equal to a human
approximately 4-5 years old. Lieutenant. ██████ had been infected with SCP-XXXX's molecules, > but had not shown symptoms. He was terminated.
