Special Containment Procedure: SCP-XXXX cannot be contained by conventional means. Instead, it much is lured into a neighboring cell of SCP-999, as the pheromones of SCP-999 will help cancel out the anomalous properties of SCP-XXXX and allow it to be safely contained. Anyone suffering from the symptoms of SCP-XXXX will become instantly monitored and quarantined.
Description: SCP-XXXX is an anomalous shapeshifting entity that has an entirely differant appearance regarding someone's irrational fears or phobias. It has 13 currently known forms each related to a known phobia. Phobias that it can replicate are:
- Arachnophobia
- Entomophobia
- Thalassophobia
- Ophidiophobia
- Nyctophobia
- Claustrophobia
- Autophobia
- Scopophobia
- Trypophobia
- Pediophobia
- Thanatophobia
- Megalophobia
- Panphobia
Each different form appears either at random or dependant on the victim's personal phobia. The entity will attack and stalk anyone that is in the way of the initial target. SCP-XXXX will target anyone who works in psychology or suffers from deep irrational fears, often appearing to them in reflective surfaces before killing them that night. The form of death varies depending on the form, with Claustrophobia killing by suffocation, trypophobia kills by puncturation, and Thanaphobia kills by touch, and so on. SCP-XXXX feeds on fear, becoming more powerful depending on the people it kills. Killing people suffering from any of the phobias that SCP-XXXX can become will cause SCP-XXXX to grow in power exponentially, and even appear in different places around the world. By killing different people with any of its phobias it can eventually become Panphobia, turning into an extinction-level threat. If SCP-XXXX becomes Panphobia the world is doomed, as nothing can stop the near-omnipotent demon.
Discovery: SCP-XXXX was discovered when a number of strange murders occurred throughout the world. It is believed that SCP-XXXX may have been one of the children of the Crimson King that occurred during the Seven Brides event. SCP-XXXX was then apprehended after the SCP Foundation managed to use SCP-999 to shut down SCP-XXXX powers and allow it to be apprehended.
Addendum: Due to being a sibling to SCP-999, and serving as an opposite force to SCP-999's powers, the SCP Foundation discovered that SCP-999 pheromones shut down SCP-XXXX anomalous properties and cause it immense pain. Because of this, SCP-999 is the only thing that can properly damage and contain SCP-XXXX.
