Special containment procedures: the thing is to be contained in a 10x10x10 m cell. All instances of the thing must be placed in different cells of the same size. Personnel may not enter under any circumstance, not including D-class. Emergency flamethrowers must be placed around Facility ███████████.
Description: Two instances of the thing are contained, the thing-1 and the thing-2. Any more instances are not known as this SCP can be easily hidden. the thing is an extraterrestrial being that has no original form. There is no known way the thing restores sustenance. the thing has no known origin and is extremely intelligent. the thing is very vulnerable to flames or heat in general. the thing can take on a form of any creature or animal that’s is able to perish. It uses the carcass or corpse to create a clone of it and uses it to impersonate it when it was alive. When it is “disguised” it has a short term memory and all artificial features like filling in teeth are removed during the transformation process. When it breaks out of its disguised form, it can detach a part of itself to “clone” itself, as every cell of this being can survive on its own. For an unknown reason, when it’s disguised, it desperately tries to make a person believe that it is not an alien, if that person were to be suspicious or know of the alien's existence. The thing is able to duplicate infinitely, making it near impossible to contain it if it were to break out from it's cell.
Containment Breach ██/██/██, Containment Facility ██████████: The thing-1 killed and used Dr. petergrff to attempt escape, while the thing-2 distracted personnel and SCPs to allow the thing-1 an escape route. MTF managed to contain the thing-1 but the thing-2 killed and used and MTF soldier to attempt escape alone. It was assumed that an unidentified carcass was the thing-2, found on ██/██/██. the thing-2 before it was re-contained infected many MTF soldiers, which allowed the thing to spread escape. Soon after all MTF soldiers infected were found terminated by other MTF, although it's unknown whether all instances of the thing have been re-contained.
