INCIDENT REPORT: DR. SHEPHERD
It was never a good sign to find out that your security clearance did not qualify you to learn what happened to your predecessor. Unfortunately for Dr. Shepherd, that was the case at the moment. He walked down the hallway to the briefing room. It had taken him a long time to learn the labyrinthine layout of Site 17, but like so many other things, all it took was long hours of study to get it cemented in his mind.
The Foundation researcher slipped through a nondescript door, entering the briefing room. Through the dim light, Dr. Shepherd could see that it was entirely empty, save a lone figure sitting at a table in the front of the room. "Ominous." he thought. He had to stop himself from cringing as he realized Site Director Camman was the one seated. Like most of the people in the Foundation, Dr. Shepherd did not know much about Director Camman. He had been recruited to the Foundation some 40 years ago, promoted to Site Director twelve years ago, and he had taken an acute disliking to Dr. Shepherd.
"Take a seat, Doctor." Camman said.
