A Problem

It's a dark room with thousands of monitors. Journalists wasting every single drop of their breath to explain the epidemic to the people then suddenly the monitors turn off.

He turned around on his chair asking. "Why me? Why did you show this to me first?"

Five looked down at the table not knowing what to say after a deep breath he looked up talking to the man staring at him. "The council was the one that denied securing this since it was already in a safe place-" Five took a deep breath and continued with his sentence. "I was against the idea of not putting it under surveillance but the council had to choose didn't they?"

The man sitting in front of Five got up walking next to the councillor sweating in his suit and tie. "So why didn't you tell me about this right after the vote passed."

A Omega-1 "Law's Left Hand" Operative rushes in and whispers something to the ear of the man standing next to Five.

The man responds back "I see."

The Omega-1 Operative steps out of the room.

Five lights up with confidence and springs towards the mans face. "One had part in this call him here if you really want to know what happened."

The man walks towards the intercom microphone and announces the following. "Overwatch Councillor One report to meeting room ██"

After a couple of minutes One enters the room and throws a cold look into Fives soul looking at the man afterwards with his first words being. "Good day Odongo, didn't expect Five here."

Odongo gestures One to take a seat afterwards switching on the monitors. "Could you explain this One..?"

One shifts back in his chair fear being visible in his eyes. "I mean-" One pauses looking around and pulling his shirts neck around trying to calm down and breathe,seconds later he continues. "Five and I decided the 008 traces were already in a safe place so we sent a few squads of Mobile Task Forces to protect the glaciers and alert a recovery team if a melting was observed-"

Odongo cuts in. "So the rest of the council didn't know this?"

One and Five looks at each other with a continuous rain in their eyes,One continues. "Yes.. there was no vote."

Odongo falls to his chair and turns to the monitors.

Two Omega-1 "Law's Left Hand" operatives rush in.

With the flick of Odongo's fingers the councillors lay dead in their chairs a bullet lodged into their skull.

Odongo fixes his tie and suit and turns to the monitors and gives the order. "Cairo please alert Captain Kimura about the start of the Primary Action his target is every single remaining councillor."

The Computer responds. "Of course Chairman Odongo Tejani"

Odongo gets up from his chair and goes to the intercom to invite a DEA representative to the room.

Couple of minutes pass the representative enters the room, gunshots from the Omega-1 Task Force echoing through the halls.

The DEA Representative asks. "You called me s-"

Odongo cuts in. "Is the UN council safe."

DEA Representative bit shocked, answers. "Yes sir they are safe why did you ask."

Odongo walks towards the man. "Propose the creation of a new global task force to the UN Council." His sentence ends with the echo of a bullet coming from the next room.

DEA Representative obliges "Dearly sir."

The DEA Representative looks at the dead councillors and rushes out of the room

Odongo turns to a security camera. "Where did we do wrong Hellenstic?"
