Special Containment Procedures:
SCP-4472 is to be kept in its standard containment chamber at Site-45 in █-Block and is guarded by 4 agents of the Security Department to ensure it is not accessed by unauthorized personnel. 2 Security Guards are to stand guard on the outside of the airlock and 2 on the inside to ensure full security of the SCP. After recent attacks from members of the Chaos Insurgency, SCP-4472 has received a pending Special Containment Procedures revision and will soon be attached to the file and area security has been increased until the revision has been introduced. Personnel under the clearance of Level-4 are not allowed to enter the containment zone of the SCP to avoid the leakage of classified information. SCP-4472's viewing area for testing is guarded by a single airlock.

SCP-4472 may only be tested on by high ranking members of the Scientific Department holding Level-4 clearance or Senior Researchers and higher with Level-3 clearance who are given special permission by O5-11. When a member of the Scientific Department who has been given permission to test on SCP-4472 by O5-11 - if they need it, they are to provide written documents along with a special [REDACTED] attached to the printed document to the guards both outside and inside the airlock when prompted to along with their security clearance card with their departmental information.

The containment chamber of SCP-4472 contains 2 ventilation systems for the deployment of Class-A amnestics for Class-D personnel being used for testing on the SCP. After each test, it is required to request the deployment of these amnestics even if the Class-D has shown no suspicion of viewing sensitive information regarding the SCP Foundation. If the Class-D has spoken out loud about sensitive information the notebook may possess, then the tester, spectators, and security guards assisting the tests will ingest Class-B amnestics which would be a tablet dissolved in the water of any kind that is digestible.

Description: SCP-4472 is an old school purposed composition ruled notebook that is labeled to have 100 sheets on the first page in the notebook, though is believed to have an unlimited amount as it gains more information regarding the SCP Foundation and other related information due to its environment.

After several tests revealing sensitive information that Class-D personnel being tested on read (See Experiment Log 4472-A), the O5 Council took several approaches to the issue and evaluated that a Level Classification would be attached to the SCP and its file to contain this sensitive information and avoid its spread and after evaluation from the O5 Council, it is protocol that in the end of a test on SCP-4472, Class-D personnel being tested on will have Class-a amnestics applied to ensure the personnel remembers no information within the notebook. If the Class-D has said sensitive information to the tester during testing, then along with the tester will they receive Class-B amnestics.

Through recent incidents, the SCP has been found as a benefit for the Intelligence Agency and Internal Security Department during interrogations and other investigations, along with disciplinary hearings.

SCP-4472 holds the abilities to write nearly every bit of information regarding a person and their private info and behaviors. The SCP has logged much information about the D-Class personnel that has tested on the subject, along with its small group of assigned researchers. Because of this, no intelligence personnel, Classified MTF Operatives, Executive Personnel, and other classified persons are not to be within a certain radius of the SCP to avoid the SCP retrieving information related to these individuals and their jobs.

SCP-4472 has been known to write down information on empty pieces of paper within the notebook as a person approaches it. Over time, the information regarding the person within a radius of the SCP gets more and more detailed over time, soon going over full medical backgrounds, card information, and much more.

So far, there has been no incidents regarding information leaks throughout Class-D personnel or to hostile Group of Interests against the Foundation and several procedures and plans have been made if the incident does come up.

The Endless Notebook is believed to have been originally found in an abandoned schoolhouse in a location that is unknown before the Chaos Insurgency achieved possession with the SCP. A member of the Chaos Insurgency who is believed to have been a non-commissioned officer had possession of The Endless Notebook before attempting to raid Site-45, though their plan failed and the attacking squadron was killed, along with its non-commissioned officer. There have been several attempts from the Chaos Insurgency to recover the SCP, and only 1 attack was a near success.

Once the site was secured and confirmed safe by security units, an investigation team was sent out to review the bodies and look for items that could be of interest for the SCP Foundation. The investigation team discovered SCP-4472 on the operational commander leading the attack against Site-45. The SCP was brought to Surface Defense Security Chief Cpt. Hōri Tamihere by Surface Defense Security Lieutenant Juchan Claiborne at Site-45 and from there to Research and Development Superintendent Dr. "Iceberg" at Site-45. The SCP was later seen by Dr. "Iceberg" writing information about himself and his classified properties within the SCP Foundation and past life. When the SCP was turned in to the O5 Council, it was given SCP-classification and returned to Site-45 for containment and further research.
