SCP - 1D the Ekiuldra (Based on the monster from "The ritual" Netflix movie

NOTES: the circle in the center of the containment area ties the creatured down to this plane of existance and that specific forest, the reason why it is needed human bodies as sacrafices is so that it can absorbe their essence in order to stay placed within this realm. This is also why it becomes aggitated if it has not had a proper sacrafice in a long time as staying within the forest with the ritual circle causes the creature to go through intense pain.

Special containment:

WARNING: SCP 1D is currently uncontained following the containment breach of SIte ██ on ██/██/██05. Any sightings of SCP 1D are to be immediately reported to on site personnel and a containment team is to be immediately dispached to the area.

SCP-1D is to be contained within a 20m X 20m area of land located south-east of [REDACTED] National Park. This area is to be kept constantly lit and all trees in the containment zone are to be trimmed and or cut so that a clear line of sight to the center of the zone can be maintained at all times. Once a week, the summoning circle for SCP 1D is to be redrawn in the exact center of the containment area as to prevent SCP 1D from leaving the containment chamber. Any attempts by staff to remove the summoning runes is to be met with swift punnishment up to and including termination.

All staff should be rotated once every two weeks from SCP 1D's containment cell in order to prevent SCP 1D from becoming a memetic hazard to on site staff. Furthermore, personell should not stay withing the [REDACTED] National Park Forested area for more than two weeks. It has been noted that SCP 1D's ability to influince personnel can spread as far as the forest border, it is unknown at this time as to why it can only reach so far. If staff is forced to stay within the borders of the forest for more than two weeks then they are to be subjected to immediate psycological screening in order to observe any possible forms of SCP 1D's memetic properties.

While SCP 1D is often quite docile when surrounded by other life forms, it has been known to become aggitated if it has not had a proper sacrafice offered to it in over a week. When this time comes it is reccomended that all staff are to stay away from the perimiter walls as SCP 1D has been noted as being able to jump the entire height of the wall and grab personnel standing guard on the other side. At which time furtehr reinforcements to the wall including barbed wire and sloped tops was added.

Description:

SCP-1D is a moose like creature roughly 2 meters in length and 3 meters in height (5 meters in height when standing on hein legs). The creature has the distinct body of a moose, however it has thick pertrusions all along its spine which seem to be made of some sort of bone-like material. These pertrusions extend all the way up the neck and end at where the head would be. Instead of the head of a moose the creature has a human head and upper torso connected to its neck. The human torso sports two arms on both sides, one of which is missing two sets of fingers. The human body is made of a thick and leathery skin which extends all the way up to the lower jaw of the body. Here the flesh seems to degrade leaving a partially skinned skull with nordic runes carved into the top of the skull. This ring of nordic runes matches that of the center summoning circle found within SCP 1D's chamber. SCP 1D has no flesh on its upper face however it still seems able to see and hear its surroundings.

The foundation first came into knowledge of SCP 1D when investigating a suspicious number of missing reports (██ missing cases were counted in total) in and near the town of [REDACTED], Colorado in ██/██/██77. Following these reports an investigation was launched in hopes of discovering the reason behind the sudden increase in missing person cases. Following local leads Containment team Omega-9 was able to locate a group of occult members hiding within the [REDACTED] National Forest.

[Hour 2, Omega-9 is roughly 9 miles from the southern border]

Dan: Command, this is green leader, we are experiencing a strange shift in the placement of the wild-life.
Command: Please elaborate green leader.
Dan: the trees seem to be placed into circular rows and there are sets of scratch marks on every other tree. Was this area ever classified as a tree farm?
Command: …Negative green leader, the [REDACTED] national park has never maintained a tree farm within its borders. > Approach the center of the rings if able.
Dan: Copy that command.

[Silence for the next 20 minutes as Omega-9 begins their hike towards the center of the circles]

Dan: Command, Richmond is picking up a disturbingly high reading on ths Kant counter. This is definitely the anomalous signature we were looking for.
Command: Copy that Dan, are you in need of-

[command is cut off by a sudden high pitched screech coming from Dan's radio]

Dan: Shit! what the fuck was that?
Kyle: I have no clue sir.
Richmond: Sir! The Kant counter is really spiking now.
Command: Green leader, what is your status?!
Dan: We may have encountered a dangerous entity. Currently moving to neutralize when in site.
Command: Neutralization is approved.

These occultists claimed to be part of a larger group which named themselves the Börn guðanna. These Börn guðanna claimed to make sacrafices to their lord, the Ekiuldra, a powerful being which promised them untold power and wealth. Following the initial confrontation, all members of the Omega-9 containment team went radio silent for the next 48 hours. after witch two more containment teams, Omega-7 and Alpha-5 were sent out to recover Omega-9. When the reached Omega-9's last known location they gained visual contact with SCP-1D.
