Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: The entity must be kept in a 20 x 10 locked containment cell redecorated to look like an average bedroom. A one-way mirror covers half of one wall so that foundation staff can observe the entity without alerting it to their presence, and the only entrance is a heavy, metal door bolted with a padlock. If the subject is to escape, stun batons or tasers will be used to knock it out cold and taken back to its cell, where it will be cuffed to the wall by the throat, wrists, and torso with steel cuffs.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a humanoid entity, about 1.5 meters tall. It is made almost entirely of steel, rubber, and aluminum, with a box-like container for the chest, a thick metal disc for hips, and long, stretchable appendages made of steel, copper wires and rubber that can turn every which way for both arms and legs. However, upon a carefully monitored examination it was found that inside of the chest cavity was many of the organs found in a human body, including a heart, a pair of lungs, a stomach, an esophagus, a large and small intestine, a uterus, a liver and one kidney.
The entity claims that it was once a human before being tortured an experimented upon by another scientific organization, and spoke of a having human face and head underneath the burlap mask that it wears at all times. Attempts to remove the mask, however, have all been for naught, as the result of doing so has caused SCP-XXXX to go rampant and become hostile. What the foundation does know of its facial features, is that both eyes have been completely removed, placed instead with small, glass-covered cameras that glow blankly with a warm, yellow light. Two small plates on each optic can be moved around freely to indicate human emotion, like anger, worry, and mourning. Foundation staff have reported seeing the entity blink on occasion even though it has no need to, and D-Class claimed to have seen the plates squeaked up into something akin to a smile when given a piece of paper and a box of crayons. What is also known of SCP-XXXX's face, is that the mouth seems to have been torn from both corners all the way back to the ears, crudely stitched up and scarred over. Red hair has collected from areas around the containment cell and the accent of the entity's voice lead to the possibility that it is of Irish descent. The entity's age is unknown, as the being's body enables it to live forever unless some catastrophe were to happen that would damage the vital organs, but the specimen's general maturity and own input have revealed it to be around seventeen to twenty six. The specimen also has a three-pronged claw on the right hand, while the other hand is covered by a bright yellow rubber glove.
SCP-XXXX is generally cooperative and cordial with the staff, having polite manners and an obedient disposition. Though it normally appears intimidated and jumpy to most staff, it has been known to occasionally strike up friendly conversation, appearing jovial and kind. It has even been heard chatting with one of the researchers about Lord of the Rings, a book written by author JRR Tolkien in 1948.
The entity is to be given small presents for good behavior once a week, including things like chapter books, art supplies, magazines, and small insects or mice as pets. Since SCP-XXXX does need to eat, three meals are given each day of whatever the D-Class cafeteria is serving, and a bottle of clean water must be in XXXX's cell at all times.
On extra special occasions, SCP-XXXX can be taken outdoors for a short walk, and clearly enjoys the fresh air.
